Used to be the best pizza in town, now we make our own or go elsewhere, they can't make a pizza how it's ordered, then they blame the customer for making it completely different than how it was ordered!Unfortunately we will not be returning to this location again.
I was told this is a must when you visit Highland Falls, New York. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, and the service was fast. We ordered sandwiches. Both were well-made and tasty. If I am ever back in the area, I would be happy to visit this place again.
We only went here because the place we intended to go, the Park, right next door, was inexplicably closed. But the place seemed OK. My wife ordered a chicken caesar salad. That's one of her favorites; she orders it everywhere; she had just had another the day before. This one was a l***** dry chicken, tasteless everything else.
Great burger and fries (1/2 pound) Service was excellent.
Brought family that was visiting West Point. Classic restaurant for West point visit. Food was good. Service was fine. Atmosphere as expected. It's been around forever. Ask any cadet!
We were here twice. The first time was for a big family gathering. There were a couple dozen of us so they put us in the back room, with 3 people taking care of us. We were all milling around, greeting people who lived far away or who hadn't seen each other in ages, but they managed to get everyone their drinks & meals despite the way some of us kept moving around. The taco salad was just the right size. The lasagna was HUGE - could easily feed 2 or even 3 people. They readily let us have a pitcher of water for our table (many restaurants won't do that). When just two of us went back a couple of nights later, we were one of only 2 couples in the place. Our waitress helped us pick entrees that were smaller (the fridge in our hotel room wasn't very good and we had no cooler so we couldn't accommodate leftovers). The strawberry patch salad was nice & light (it was a hot day) and the BLT was nicely done. We bought chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies for our trip home the next day; both were good. The menu was surprisingly extensive; if we lived nearby, we'd probably want to work our way through it. One of the specials was a seafood portobello pasta which sounded really good; pity we had no way to get leftovers home.
Service was good. Let two adults share an entree and brought extra plates. Staff were friendly. Prices reasonable. Food was very average.
Food was really good, service always had a look. Was a bit dark inside, but we really had a good time!
Very friendly waitstaff. We had a group of 20 and they handled everything flawlessly!! The food was really good as well. Everyone in our party was happy with what they ordered. We went there three times over the course of a week while we were there on business.
*HighlyRecommend* **Best Pizza ? in Town***Not Skimpy With the Toppings* ???We've tried the rest and we really enjoyed the pizza here at Schade's and will be ordering our pizzas here from now on.

The waiter and waitress were great! The food especially the turkey club. We always enjoy coming here, the waiter always greets you with a smile. He is the red haired gentleman
Parking: Very easy to park
right near west point, nice photos of the old days on the walls, good home cooking type burgers and bbq. reasonably priced and friendly staff. lots of locals there. substantial bar items.
The goat cheese is very good! Excellent wings! Vicky was a fantastic server.
I have eaten many places around the world ? having said that Schades Restaurant is very unique. First it sits just outside of West Point, NY second it has many choices to choose from, third they are very generous with their portions.
This place is horrible. Food is disgusting. Chicken enchilada had cold chicken inside. The way it was served was totally gross. Even rice and beans that came with it were not edible. Another meal that was not edible was pasta with marinara sauce. I don’t know how this place is still in business. Definitely not recommend.
