LOCUX is awful…..Ridiculously overpriced! They tried to overcharge $35 per person cover until we argued that their own staff told us $30 over the phone. Then two Long Island Iced Teas cost a whopping $38 and were in tiny little plastic cups that were mostly ice. The back deck and smoking area is totally closed down now and is “emergency exit only!” What the hell?! The second floor that used to be so much fun with a great view is now a VIP Lounge you have to pay an EXTRA $50 per person just to go up to. WTF?! Does this place think it’s in Manhattan? Hello? You’re a niche Latino club in suburbia Highland, NY, and your business is For Sale because it’s FAILING! No wonder! Make it more affordable for the masses and you would have succeeded! Bring back Prime Time! At least that was fun for everyone, the whole place was open to all, and the prices were a third of what they are now. Avoid LOCUX Entertainment like the Locusts invading America, because that’s basically what it is! 😡
