Well we had a birthday dinner amongst 2 family members and myself, we haven't been to Mt.Fugi for years and not much has changed since we were there years ago except the furniture in the lounge area,so it was dirty it's the only thing I have to say that needs to be addressed, I really didn't want to sit down on the couch and the carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Other than the lounge everything else was pleasing as far as service, food and the chefs entertainment while cooking everyone's food which was fresh and delicious. It's a little bit expensive but worth it for a family birthday dinner party 🥳

Came for my brothers birthday because wanted to visit this place for a long time . We thought it would be nice experience and food would be great . But we sat down the server his name is Timo at first was nice , but when he heard that we speak Russian he changed his attitude. When he took our order we told him few times what we want . We waited almost two hours for the chef to come and when Timo came to our table he only spoke and apologized for the wait to the other people who were sitting beside us . He forgot to bring forks and chopsticks even though we asked . And the people who he was talking to asked him to bring us some forks he gave them to us . Also even though we repeated what we ordered to him , he “forgot” to write down the order that my brother asked. We figured that people come there not for food but for the show , service and experience that they provide. But discrimination from this server just ruined whole night for us and unfortunately food is also not great . Probably will not be coming there again . And will not recommend this place to anyone

Look bottom line it’s a nice looking place. We came here many years ago and it was a little dingy on the inside. They must’ve renovated. Quite frankly, came here last night for my daughters birthday - the drinks and food are extremely overpriced for the quality. I had to pay five dollars extra for banzai for my daughter‘s birthday just to have somebody with a dragon mask come out and they gave some dismal happy birthday. Quite frankly not going back. Maybe if it’s somebody else’s party, otherwise it was totally not worth the money. These guys have got to step their game up when it comes to the cuisine to justify the prices. Well, the food was completely under seasoned and the sushi was completely bland. I hate to give a bad review because I really enjoy this style of cuisine, And I’m usually pretty lenient, but last night’s turnout was pretty bad. One last thing just to mention. I know they’re trying to be upscale with not having some of the more playful aspects of the mainstream Teppanyaki places, but they might want to rethink that. It’s just not fun if your chef is not into having a good time.

We had a great time at Mt. Fuji restaurant. The atmosphere, views, and service are excellent. Our waiter was Timo. He was really lovey. He has a very calm demeanor, paid close attention to allergies, was attentive, and made us feel comfortable!

This is my go to hibachi spot with my family for special occasions and events. I am deeply upset and enraged by an experience I had last week (7/13) when I went for my sister’s birthday. She requested hibachi and of course this is the place we go to, so we brought her here and she hadn’t had hibachi in a very long time. We were seated fairly quickly and the chef comes by after the usual soup and salad. The chef we get, within the first 10 minutes, literally makes a derogatory and racist motion/comment. We are Asian American and he gestured to making slitty eyes. The specific comment he made was “Are you guys sisters? I can tell because *using his fingers to make slitty eyes motion*”. I am beyond baffled and my sister was also speechless. Hibachi is supposed to be a fun and entertaining experience. The chef after making this comment and gesture ignored our side of the table and only spoke to the other family. He didn’t say anything and did not do the usual things to make the cooking fun which is a part of the whole experience of going. The other family apologized on behalf of the chef’s behavior when the night was over; not even the chef himself. I cannot, in good conscience, come back to this establishment again.
Pictured is the chef in question

Fuji Japanese Steakhouse was a 10/10 night! Free valet was super friendly, and we got to chill in this gorgeous open lounge with mountain views before dinner. Everything felt so detailed, honestly reminded me of Japan.
I don’t usually love hibachi but the chef here was hilarious and the food was amazing. Our friend’s birthday was during our visit and a dragon literally came out to sing to her lol. Service was great top to bottom. Definitely coming back!
