My family and I had a grand night! French onion soup was out of this world, fried chicken sandwich was hit the spot. Our sever Ana was absolutely lovely—thanks for hosting us tonight🙏🙏

Unexpected gem. They were able to sit us (6) on a Saturday night without a reservation which I’m thankful for. Our server was great - didn’t catch her name but she was nice and helpful. The food tho - was not sure what I was expecting ordering pasta at a pub but the pasta and meatballs were amazing. Will definitely come here again when I’m in town next year!

Always have a great time going here for dinner. We usually get the same waitress. (Can't for the life of me remember her name but she is also a teacher outside of waitressing and she deserves a raise) service is always great, food is amazing, atmosphere is inviting. We love it.

The garlic wings were crispy and full of flavor. Burger and eggplant parm dish were also delicious. Service was quick and very pleasant.

A mixed experience, with highs and lows.
Highs:
Our server was great and she did the best she could. The garlic knots were the best we’ve ever had. The cocktails were good.
Lows:
Bar service was S L O W.
Mac and cheese was flavorful but VERY dry.

Will give it another shot but will order pizzas next time.

Large menu, wonderful service and a tavern atmosphere. Mussels and specialty pizzas were our choice along with beer and wine.

food is a disappointment! ordered take out which was pretzel sticks, wings, chicken tenders(supposed to be tossed in BBQ sauce came with a small container on the side) pretzels tasted like a fancy dinner roll, everything else dried, over cooked flavorless. Private messaged them and they don't seem to care. $74.52 is a lot of money to spend on crappy food!!

Wanted to try Hillsdale house heard many good things. Wow what a disapointment! $74.52 worth of dry flavorless wings and chicken tenders(which were supposed to be tossed in BBQ sauce) BBQ sauce was little container on side. Pretzels tasted like a dinner roll. I private messages them about this and they did nothing and it did not sound like they were sorry. Seriously would you eat this?!?

Old-style tavern/restaurant in the center of the hamlet of Hillsdale. Our young server was very polite and the food (a gourmet mushroom pizza) was delicious. Our one big concern was that our pizza appeared to be left out for several minutes (we could see where it was being made) instead of being served promptly. Another staff member apologized unprompted and told us that they were in training, which is understandable.

The wings may have been the best garlic parm wings I have every had!! They were crispy while soaking up the sauce making the wings so flavorful. The chicken was cooked to perfection. My prime rib was so good and ending my meal with the cheesecake drizzled with caramel, requested not a given, was perfect! Highly recommend!!!
