Lucy and Andrew bring that southern cuisine to a small hometown. Their food, kindness and the love they have for cooking is outstanding! Congratulations on your first anniversary! Ps your French toast is amazing!

I never thought of Shrimp and Grits together or for that matter as a breakfast meal. It was wonderful they paired perfectly and the gravy with bacon, mushrooms and onions make it a treat that I look forward to every other time I go. The other times I go I try the rest of the menu. All the items are excellent.

I was excited to try this southern style eatery. It is expensive but a little more investment in the decor and environment will help. I wanted to eat outside but there was only one waitress so she said "no."I'd had full intention to try the grit cake but backed out. I just wanted regular grits, but the explanation for not serving them did not sound like southerners! That said, the food I ordered was good - an omelet fairly typical of what I'd get at a local Greek diner, and it was fine.I will try a more "southern" dish next time! Even though the food was middling, the server was full of hospitality.

We have had both dine in and take out multiple times over the past two months. Everything I have tried several different dishes and combinations and all have been outstanding. We also came in for dinner last week and my fried chicken was excellent. The highest taste and quality we have seen in years.

I expected a genuine southern home-cooked breakfast, but what was served seemed like re-heated frozen food.
