Miles is one of the pricier wineries on Seneca Lake for tastings. A tasting is $12 and the portion is truly 1 small sip of 4 different wines.
If you are not on a budget, then Miles is fine. Scenic location, flavorful wine, and knowledgeable staff.
However, other wineries offer similar for a lower price or much larger portion (Wagner, Lakewood).
Didn't visit Miles Wine Cellars, happen to live next door!!
I went for wine tasting and the view of the lake just makes it more special.
Beautiful location and worth visiting for a glass of wine on the lake shore. The grounds are beautiful and dog friendly.
The staff was friendly, but not very engaging about the wine. They poured and didn't describe much beyond the description on the sheet. I did enjoy that they sat on the front porch greeting guests like a "southern charm."
The wines are listed as dry, but like a lot of places in the Finger Lakes, we find they run a little sweeter than the dry we are used to. Everything still had a very nice flavor.

Visited Miles Wine Cellars for a wine tasting and a beautiful view of the lake. We loved the sweet wine flight and the port wine. I enjoyed the view at the lake shore. The service was really good and I ended up buying three bottles of wine. Can’t wait to visit again!

Miles Wine Cellars was the perfect place for our small, intimate wedding. The setting was stunning and our stay at the Inn was cozy and comfortable. Staff was accommodating and friendly, sparing no detail. Food was fabulous and perfectly paired with our wine choices. We highly recommend Miles Wine Cellars. Thank you again for making our day so special and memorable.
A great secluded with intentionally creepy ghost vibes. Real good wine and mixed drinks. Dog friendly outside. Great dock access below. Real beautiful views. Ghost wine great. Also I should add that the staff was really friendly (and hilarious when one of the drinks with pop rocks gave an underwhelming performance) and get an ice cream sandwich, they are ridiculously good.

Did a wine tasting, very good but pricey compared with other wineries in the area.
Noteworthy details: Parking is on the lawn, free but not very wheelchair friendly
After a 90 min boat ride to come for wine tasting and a picnic on the grounds, we were rudely turned away. We had checked that they were open, and no mention that the dock would be closed since they were staining it.
In an area known for white wines, their dry reds were quite good 10–19

My husband and I love this unique wine venue so much! We've been coming for years. He proposed here 6 years ago, and this past weekend we finally stayed at the Inn! It was everything we'd hoped and so much more! Susan, Rachel, and Emily were absolutely wonderful and so helpful. We enjoyed wine in our gathering area at the Inn, fresh home-baked goodies and fruit each morning. it was an amazing stay with a gorgeous view! We finished our weekend with wine on the dock in the morning. We truthfully can't say enough great things about Miles. We look forward to a return trip soon, and are so glad we were able to stay as guests at their beautiful venue!
Best winery on Seneca lake! Beautiful, on the water! Helpful, friendly staff.

They offer tasting in the house and by the glass on the dock by the lake. I made it there with enough time before a storm rolled in to have a couple of glasses by the lake. They had a nice selection of dry reds - we got glass of the cab Franc, cab sav and merlot. The atmosphere was great. We watched boats dock and come for drinks. Ended up purchasing a bottle before leaving. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping here on your wine trail - especially during nice weather!
Excellent family run local distillery and vineyard, located in a spectacular historic location overlooking Seneca Lake. Everyone here is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and are sure to make you feel right at home.
Cute winery, gorgeous lakeside location. I did a tasting with a large group (reservation made ahead of time). The wines were decent, but the hosts gave minimal information about most of them and rushed us through the tasting, even pouring one into a glass that still contained the previous wine. A fun visit, not my favorite winery in the area.
