Run by two brothers, we lived the place. We were visiting the Hobart Book Village (also highly recommended) and was directed to this restaurant by one of the artists in Hobart. We had a great time here. one of the brothers was very friendly and gave us the whole history of the place and how it is to live around there (which I am always curious to know,). He also made me a lovely Long Island Ice Tea. Recommended, if you are in the area.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the dishes. Passing through from NYC and we loved it. I had the Pork Schnitzel and my wife had the Rib Eye. Would like to see a bit more wine options but the hospitality and friendliness were top notch. The Chef came out to say hello. Very cozy and welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Friendly folks, quick service. Ordered a pizza to go. Pizza received rave reviews from the family. Recognize the restaurant is a brilliant work in progress, but didn’t affect service or food quality. Will be our go to when in Stamford. Thanks to the folks at Dinner Plate to brighten our time there.

We went there tonight after a concert down the street for dinner and it was just right. The chef/owner and waitress were friendly and welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding. Everything made from scratch. They don't have their liquor license yet but it did not matter. I recommend it.

I highly recommend the Dinner Plate. Me and my family felt right at home ! The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. We found the staff to be externally accommodating. Our food was very good and everything was so fresh. The wings were very testy ! The garlic knots one of the best and made right from scratch. Our kids loved the pasta and tomato sauce. We will be back ! Thank you for making us feel very welcome.Kid-friendliness: We found the restaurant to also be kid friendly with plenty of options to choose from.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5Upon entering "The Dinner Plate" during their soft launch phase, the ambiance immediately grabbed my attention - an eclectic mix of modern design with hints of vintage charm. ? The rustic wooden tables paired with industrial chic lighting created an atmosphere that was both cozy and contemporary. Now, onto the food. Their pizza and wings combo is nothing short of gastronomic brilliance, making renowned spots like "Pizza Plus" look ordinary in comparison. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is where culinary creativity meets traditional flavors; it confidently passed the bend test with its perfect crust - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. A true pizza lover's dream! ??Wings - ah! A tale of two flavors: garlic Parm and bourbon. Both were generously sized, succulent, and bursting with a taste that tantalizes the taste buds. Just a heads-up though, these mouthwatering wings do come with a slightly premium price (12 for $17). But honestly? Worth every penny. ?The surprise MVP of the night? Their homemade blue cheese dressing. It was the kind of good that makes you momentarily close your eyes to savor every drop. ?However, perfection is elusive. The palpable enthusiasm of being a new, family-run establishment translated into slightly over-zealous service. The older family members, while sweet, did hover and check-in a tad too often, making us feel a smidge over-observed. But I'm chalking this up to early-day eagerness. In conclusion, "The Dinner Plate" is a beacon of culinary promise. Even with a slightly higher price point, its allure is undeniable. The blend of delicious food, the ambiance, and their sustainable practices makes it a gem waiting to be discovered by more. I'll be back, and not just for the pizza! ??️???
