“Excellent service. The dishes were delicious. Their honey whipped butter is to die for. Best pork chop I've had in a long time. Very juicy and well prepared. Great find and will visit again.”
“This is my favorite restaurant experience in the world. The same time seating, the atmosphere, the food, it’s all amazing. You won’t find anything like it anywhere else. The owner and chef remembered after nearly two years that my wife and I enjoyed their olive oil cake and surprised us at the end of the meal with a little slice to take home—even though it wasn’t on the menu! Lovely spot. Lovely people.”
“Solinsky's is a true craft of a salumeria producing world-class cured meats and barbecue brisket. Only open on the weekends, the owners are a couple who make everything themselves using local ingredients. Their selection changes slightly week to week and ranges from bacon, to prosciutto cotto, capocollo, kielbasa, and my newfound favorite, kabanosy. In addition, they smoke brisket and make the best barbecue I've had (including in Austin) with your choice of fatty or lean meat. They also sell pantry items - tinned fish, cheese, milk, and other goods - and sell baguettes after noon. If you're in the area and eat meat, do yourself a favor and stop in!”
“Had such a great experience at this restaurant last night. Me and my entire family went for my birthday dinner. We started off with cocktails that were delicious and had the Brussel sprouts and Trout dip for apps. We loved it! The menu doesn’t have too many options, but it seems like they are a quality over quantity place and I prefer that. All the stuff on their menu is fresh from local farms, that is hard to come by. Then, our meals came out and they were amazing! The steak I got was perfectly cooked and the potatoes and veggies were awesome. We did have an issue with my mother’s burger being too rare, but they were very nice about it and tried to fix the issue as quickly as possible. The customer service right from the start when we walked into the restaurant was top notch. Cay Sophie took care of the issue and went above and beyond for us. She sent me home with a birthday dessert also. Half Acre is a very welcoming place and I will be going back whenever I am in the area!”
“Intimate and cozy, amazing food and great people all around. Definitely worth the drive from wherever you come. Looking forward to dinner in spring and summer and seeing this place grow. Low abv beers that complimented the dishes were exceptional. Make the trip!”
“This place was amazing! This spot is setting the bar in the Catskills. Food was delicious, coffee was great, owners were warm and welcoming. AND they had Gluten Free bread options.”
“I’m still not entirely sure what this place is but it was like visiting an alternate dimension. My husband got bacon gravy over a biscuit (have never seen bacon gravy before!), and I got the stuffed French toast. At first the French toast seemed a little dry but with the syrup? Perfection.Servers were very sweet, and there was some type of Christian history lecture/sermon going on at a nearby table so I’m pretty sure that fulfilled our Church obligation for the week ?Definitely a place to relax! And I really like their mission (they donate profits to help combat food insecurity, according to their menu, which is a great read in and of itself).”
“Wow! We were pleasantly surprised with the food. It was fresh and truly homemade. Definitely recommend the burger... probably the best I've ever had. The crispy chicken caesar wrap was also delicious... really good chicken. It was very busy for lunch but plenty of friendly staff that worked well together and kept everything moving. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!”
“I absolutely love this cafe and visit every time I go to book shop in Hobart! Great variety and quality of both food and coffee (honestly more than I was initially expecting in such a small town), and really lovely staff as well. Highly recommend!”
“Love love this local coffee shop. We are from NJ and frequently visit in the area and always stop here a few times while there. Owner is very friendly and always willing to make something new for me. If you haven’t tried this shop you are missing the best.”
“the shake shack of the catskills is what i would call this! i probably would not have stopped in if it weren't for a friend suggesting it. totally lives up to the hype! i opted for a cheeseburger, fries, and side of macaroni salad. 100% satisfied with it. delicious burger, great fries, mac salad, and a cold can of soda....all for $6.00!!! i'll be back to try the other options.”
“Quiet night in the dining room meant excellent service from the waitress and attention from the manager. Food superb, excellent value. We were a small family gathering. We'll be back, would recommend to anyone.”
“The perfect hole in the wall place if you’re in the area. Dive bar atmosphere with plenty of options to eat and drink. The prime rib dinner on the weekends is out of this world. Probably the best I’ve ever had; cooked perfectly with seasoning that blew me away. The mashed potatoes and asparagus sides both were phenomenal.Friendly waitresses too. Great place to hang out.”

“This is the place you hope that will end up being your new local tavern. From the food (which is truly amazing thanks to Mike) the drinks and the atmosphere the owner Santos and the bartender MJ will make your night. I know they did for us.”
“We went there tonight after a concert down the street for dinner and it was just right. The chef/owner and waitress were friendly and welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. The service was outstanding. Everything made from scratch. They don't have their liquor license yet but it did not matter. I recommend it.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chappies with a group of 15 friends, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Located conveniently near a mountain where we enjoyed snow tubing, this restaurant was the perfect post-adventure retreat. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for what turned out to be a culinary delight. Our diverse group sampled a variety of dishes, and each one surpassed our expectations. The French toast was a delightful start to our meal, with its perfect balance of sweetness and fluffiness. The Texas patty melt and grilled cheese sandwiches were absolute crowd-pleasers, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. One of the unexpected gems was the chai chili wrap, which added a delightful twist to our taste buds with its unique combination of flavors. Even the soup, a seemingly simple dish, impressed us with its depth of flavor and comforting warmth. And let's not forget the chicken fingers, a classic favorite that did not disappoint. To complement our meal, we indulged in an array of drinks, all of which were expertly crafted and served with care. Whether it was a refreshing cocktail or a steaming cup of coffee, each sip enhanced our dining experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff accommodating our large group effortlessly and ensuring that every need was met. Despite the size of our party, the food arrived promptly and was served with a smile.Overall, dining at Chappies was a highlight of our snow tubing adventure. The combination of delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service made for a truly memorable experience. Whether you're visiting the area for outdoor activities or simply seeking a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend making a reservation at Chappies. You won't be disappointed!”
