Unto its own. Special and worth driving out or your way. Arrive, park, exhale and enter into an architectural Folk Art painting. Plus the food matches the specialness. Roasted garlic. Snap peas fresh off the vine. Local artisan breads. Fresh mint custard. Cherry cake. Craft beers. After a relaxing meal, drift down the slope to visit the lambs. Catskills treasure.
At the end of a weekend celebrating a friend’s wedding we were looking for somewhere we could enjoy our last dinner in the Catskills and were recommended BF&F by our Airbnb host.If you’ve ever travelled in Italy, BF&F’s model seems to be akin to an Agriturismo. Local ingredients prepared with minimum fuss and maximum taste. Absolutely delicious. Intimate and cozy, amazing food and great people all around. Definitely worth the drive from wherever you come. Looking forward to dinner in spring and summer and seeing this place grow. Low abv beers that complimented the dishes were exceptional. Make the trip!
