Today was my mom’s birthday. I searched Google for diners in Long Island. The Holbrook Diner stood out to me and I’m so glad I chose to celebrate there with 8 other family members. From the time we walked in the door they quickly accommodated my family and I. The staff was so friendly, kind, and attentive. That’s what we all want when eating out especially a place we’ve never been before. We wanted mom to have great food and service. She got that and more. She was so happy with the grilled chicken deluxe that she ordered. I had the same. Other family members ordered a vegetable wrap, French toast, grilled chicken salad, avocado with bacon sandwich, chicken strips and fries and more. No one had any complaints. We felt so welcome it was worth the hour drive from Queens. The server helped us sing Happy Birthday to my mom. There was another employee that took pictures. Thank you staff at the Holbrook Diner for the great meal and even better service that we received today. Next time I’m in town I look forward to coming again. Please tip the staff well for their great service as we did. I highly recommend that you try for yourself one of the huge variety of dishes they offer.

Very close to the Ronkonkoma LIRR station, this diner was a delight! Classic diner look and feel, amazing and friendly service, and great food. We went for brunch and ordered off their specials brunch menu. We got the cookie dough stack, lemon blueberry stack, and a side of home fries. The pancakes were delicious and very filling. The side of home fries was more than enough for two people to share. Prices were quite reasonable.
