I had the branzino....it was delicious until I experienced a lot of bone. I didn't complain or send back because what I did eat of it was delicious and my family enjoyed their food tremendously. Our server was very attentive.

Good Friday Dinner with Family - the food was delicious & the service was excellent

All the staff was friendly and helpful. Our hot antipasto was very tasty. I ordered the sole orgenata, I was brought just broiled sole. When I requested that I get the original dish I ordered the kitchen just threw breadcrumbs on top and re served me the same dish. I was very dissatisfied, they then offered to remake it, however I felt it was too late and should have been done when I first sent it back.

I have been coming here since it opened. Nothing has changed here. The food is excellent. The service is excellent and it's my all-time favorite restaurant since the 70s. Anybody who comes to visit we always take them back and they are amazed.

Excellent food and service. Large portions of perfectly prepared delights served by pleasant and attentive staff. The noise level picked up as we were at the tail end of an early dinner so if you like quiet, get there when it opens. Otherwise, perfection.

Place service is subpar. No attention to detail. Slow service yet they rush you out.

The food was amazing always is. But we ordered our appetizer which was in middle of table to share. Got our soups on time. Nice size bowls then literally 2 minutes later our main course arrived. I hadn't taken a spoonful yet cause it was hot. Well you can see where this is going. There was no way our main course could fit on this table. They wanted to take main course back to hold in kitchen and we said absolutely not. We know people in the business and they say never do this. So our soups were then just put in containers to take home. Beside that we never got the salad we ordered which had to be wrapped to go. Was told they would do something for us. Got bill and no adjustments were made not a very good way to have your customers return.

What happened to this place? Over an hour for a pie and 2 pasta dishes. Pasta was finished half an hour earlier than the pie. So the pastas are cold by the time the pizza comes out. The gentleman taking orders seems like he has never seen a register before in his life. While waiting for the takeout food there are 5 other unhappy customers wondering where their food is.
The food taste is still good... But there is no lack of good Italian food on long island. Won't be returning to this disfunctional establishment that I've enjoyed for years.

Myself, my mom and her pals
From high school are all in town for a reunion; Having been a place we always used to come when we would visit and a fav of my moms ( and grandmothers) it was a no brainer to head to mamma’s for dinner! Everything was just how we remember and just as delicious. William our waiter was so attentive and welcoming. I will always look forward to coming back to the mountain of mussels on mamma’s special!

What a hidden gem in Long Island, New York! The Italian food was beyond my expectations and I enjoyed every bit of it. I believe Andrea was my server and she was too notch. If you’re looking for old school Italian, this is the spot!!

It was nice to meet the owner, Mrs. Lombardi as well. She was kind enough to buy me dessert! Will definitely be back!
