We had an engagement party here recently. Other than a few hiccups that happened, like the passed hors d'oeuvre ended at an hour when we were told it would go on until people stopped taking them, everth8ng else was well done. Food was good and the room was perfect for the 110 people we had there. Overall a nice place to have a function.

Trio Restaurant at the Holbrook Country Club is an outstanding venue. My fraternal organization meets there once a month and we are treated like royalty. Elsa and Nora run an outstanding service with great food and even better hospitality. The place is spotlessly clean and has easy access too and has plenty of available parking. There is always a kind and friendly atmosphere. They are also available for private events and I highly recommend contacting them if you're interested. Trio is a true five star location. Was there for a buffet style meal recently. The chicken marsala was tough and no one offered you more than one piece of anything in the Sterno's. Made you feel like you weren't allowed more, and having worked in restaurants, that tells me they didn't have enough food prepped (or on hand) to accommodate the crowd. They cut slices of cake into 2 - 3 smaller pieces. A staff member had the nerve to appear put out that some people went back 2 & 3 times for dessert. But if you don't give them the whole piece, you should expect them to come back for the rest of it.All in all, it was ok. This would not be my first choice of venue for anything I am planning in the future.

I attended a reception type party at Trio. I thought the food was very good, as did others at the party. The building could use updating, but the grounds are nice as the restaurant is on a golf course. However, I thought that the service was disappointing. The staff were polite, but could've been more attentive in general. Maybe they were short-staffed for the amount of guests that attended. I left the party dying of thirst because they didn't come around often with water and the glassware at the bar were too small; two or three sips, and you needed to go back to the bar for a refill.
