My usual bakery was closed and I took a shot here. I ordered a week in advance and made a fairly simple request for cupcakes. It averaged out to over $3 per cupcake: a 1/2 puck of cake in a traditional paper liner. The other half was an icing concoction I've never experienced. (I do believe they did this for the order itself. Their other cupcakes may not use this recipe). It was like a mix of regular icing and fondant that was about 2 inches thick. They looked like full sized...
Oh my, such an amazing cafe. So many delicious things to choose from. Today I choose the half moon cookies and the milk chocolate orange jelly candy. They were totally scrumptious. Highly recommend.
I stopped in on my way to a different nearby store and am very happy I did! The bakery smells amazing and I got the Oreo cheesecake - literally one of the best things I have ever eaten!!
We also got some halfmoons and a cinnamon bun to bring home and they were delicious as well. I will definitely be dropping in again next time I am in Homer!
