This place is a little local treasure. Every time I visit the area Bistro 42 is my favorite n dinner spot. I used to go into Vermont to dine at some of their famous Inn’s. But Bistro is actually better food, better priced and not in the least pretentious. The owner always greets us warmly. Troy has always been our server and he is so helpful. This was by far the best restaurant we’ve ever had dinner at. The service was something I’ve never experienced ever, the food was amazing, and the restaurant itself was just such a beautiful atmosphere! We can’t wait to come back!! Glad to have found this place!
We originally came up here to ski in Vermont and were looking for a late dinner. We then found this gem of a place right near our airb&b! The service, ambiance and experience was absolutely amazing! We were completely taken back by the level of kindness and effort that we received considering we stopped in 30 minutes before closing time.
