Stumbled across this lowkey restaurant while traveling and was sooo pleasantly surprised! The owner is super friendly and eager to give recommendations, and the food was really good! Had the Turkish Pepperoni Pizza and ended with Baklava, the best Baklava I’ve had in a while! You can tell this food is fresh. The place is also super cozy and old-timey, really nice for a date.
I ordered Doordash and no driver ever picked it up, the owner stayed after closing to hold it for me to pick it up :) He was super nice and definitely didn't have to do that for me
A really cool spot with amazing art everywhere. The pizza was satisfying, and wish we ordered more! My only complaint is the service. I worked in NYC restaurants through college so my expectations can be high but there was no sense of urgency, no recommendations (I dined with a party and wish we had known that how much we ordered wasn’t enough), and they seemed lost and unsure of what was on the menu. Hopefully it was just their first day - I understand service can be tough...
