If you aren't looking for this place you will drive right by. It is in an old house with antiques dotting the landscape. There is minimal seating inside, but it is worth the stop. This is family owned and the menu has anything you could want. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered burgers and they are cooked to order. This was quite possibly the best burger I have had in ages! They also sell homemade candy!
Quaint candy store and restaurant. Not a lot of seating so we had to order take out, as we arrived around 5:15 pm and all seats/tables were full. We got the 1/2 pound cheese burger which was the best we have had in a long long time! Cooked to our liking and to our surprise came with fresh cut fries and coleslaw which were also excellent! Stopped today on the way back to Bennington from a hike. Seriously regret never stopping here before! The food was phenomenal, everything made fresh once ordered (not a minute before!) including weighing out burgers, making onion rings from scratch, and hand-cutting fries.
