“I was visiting friends in NY, and on the day of my return to FL, my girlfriend took me to Panino Rustico, where I met JACK, he was excellent and authentic New Yorker, with accent and all (adorable).. The menu choices are excellent, we had truffle fries, I had the P48 Panini (steak, mozzarella with peppers & onions) and to cap off as a desert, I had the Iced Nutella Latte... All were excellent. I love a Hot Panini and it was perfect, flavors were cheesy perfect. Even the ambiance was charming and the Service was impeccable. I truly cannot say enough. So when you go, say HI to Jack!! I like the square bottom bag and the octagonal box the feteer comes in. Today, I was in the mood for a wrap. I ordered the beef shawarma. They toasted the wrap - nice and hot on a giant panini press. It was so juicy I didn’t need the special Levant sauce. Then I thought let me dig the wrap in the sauce and wow. Tasted even better. Will be back to sample their meat pies next!“

“I usually don’t write reviews, but I am making an exception for this one just because the guy working there was super kind and respectful about the situation. My friend made a togo pickup on the app and we waited about 15 minutes for his food, and he still didn’t get it, so he went up to the counter just to find out that his order was already ready, the guy working there apologized and explained that he didn’t put it on the pick up shelf because people would usually go in and grab the bag( they probably though that way because when we entered my togo bag was on the shelf, so I grabbed it). He also gave my friend a free drink to compensate for it. I really loved how he handled the situation and was very apologetic about it, so it felt less uncomfortable eating inside the store. Aside from this the food tasted amazing and the portion size was filling.“

This place IS A HIDDEN GEM. Not only the food is delicious, everyone here was super friendly!

I ordered Turkey melt, TUNA MELT (!!!), Chicken Caesar wrap, Roast Beef wrap, grilled cheese, and Scrambled eggs for a small bday party. Everyone loved the food and many asked me where I ordered from.

Especially the Tuna melt. Which I ordered because Susan recommended it herself!
They also have amazing cookies!

Susan's Kitchen is located in an office building, made it a little hard to find, in my opinion. My husband and I were confused whether or not we were allowed to park in the parking lot of the building.

They are open in the am and until late. Sunny’s deli gets all the clout but they aren’t friendly and always mess up my order. “The food here is very good. They cook the food fresh in front of you. I went here on my lunch break one day and ordered two tostadas, they cooked the raw chicken right there. The food was well seasoned and it was cooked to order. As they were making my tostadas another cool took a tray of baked chicken out of the oven. It looked so good I almost canceled my tostadas for the chicken. Needless to say the tostadas were delicious. If you’re in the area give this place a try.“

Now for the pizza. Totally unique tasting crust. Light, but not too doughy , and a nice airy crisp. Classics NY style pizza with the perfect cheese to sauce ratio. Perfect. Hit the spot. Our girls loved it. They’re picky pizza eaters too. For me… can’t go wrong with pizza. But this slice.. stood out. Not many do that for me. But mid chew, I stopped, oh what the h.. this mad good. Stopped to take a few pictures so I can rate this well deserved spot.

Boy are we glad we ordered from them. This will be our go to spot when ordering a pie on the way home.“

“This deli has been around for over 40 years, maybe even 50. There were 3 sisters who each had a deli on Queens , and their German recipes lived on after they retired. (Though I admit one of the sisters Helga, of Expressway Deli off Bell Blvd and Horace Harding, but they have been gone 15 years now. Her potato salad would travel to visit family and friends 250 or more miles packed in Ice. )“
