We were passing through Hudson and called shortly after the kitchen had closed. They were nice enough to still take our order and were very polite. Food was fairly priced and delicious. Definitely a great spot if you're looking for fine Italian dining.
Ca Mea where my family eat at regularly is by far the best restaurant in Hudson and as a matter of fact I would put Ca Mea on par and in some cases better than a New York City eatery. Max and Roy really have kept it at a very high standard and that commitment trickles down to the staff. Let me give a big shout out to Chef Wilson who continues to be inventive with his cooking.
One of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten in. The best for sure in Columbia County. I can't wait for them to reopen
Food was great pasta was delicious service was fast and polite. Would really recommend
I can't say enough. I am addicted to the arugula salad with house smoked salmon. All the dishes are Delish! Fresh pasta. Chef Wilson Costa is amazing. Simple but elegant. Can't wait to return
Excellent food, fabulous service - adult and kid friendly - we loved our stop at the Hudson from upstate skiing!
Love the food, the atmosphere and the service. I also appreciated that they allowed me to bring a special bottle of wine, charged a minimal corkage fee, and gave great wine service. I look forward to returning again and again!
This is probably the best restaurant in Hudson. We live here and come regularly. Pasta is perfectly cooked. Vegetables are fresh, fish is fresh. Sauces are full of flavor. There are regular specials so the choices don't become tired. Waitresses are responsive and friendly. And the bread is great! What more do you want for a great meal out.
Had a great experience with my boyfriend here! Good food and very good service.
Our pick for the most romantic restaurant in the Hudson Valley is Ca' Mea Restaurant and Inn at 333 Warren Street in Hudson.
This is a classy yet casual place. We have been coming here a long time! We simply love it!
The atmosphere was comforting and the service was very friendly. The only problems were the bread that was hard as a rock not just the crust that cut into my gums, the Mozzarella burrata was just with tomatoes which I wasn't a fan of. The worst part was sauce that the spinach ravioli was in. The ravioli was good, but the sauce was the worst I have ever had. I had my other 2 companions try it as well in case it was me, unfortunately they agreed as well. Possibly it was burnt? Very unfortunate for a pricey diner.
Everything is of good quality, but it lacks the freshz home-cooked soul--both in food and in service--to be truly great. Soft recommend; good for Hudson restaurants but there are better ones, especially near Saugerties.
The food was superb! The service was sub par. We called the restaurant the next day to let the owner know. He was very apologetic. We will return for the great food, but will request a different waitress!
I have to say yelp is the worst when looking for real restaurants. CaMea is clearly the best restaurant in Hudson. Service is spot on and the BEST servers, and the food is always great... perfection and consistent... anyone in (and out of) town will tell you as they always recommend... never go by yelp, clearly
Our prosciutto salad was very clearly roast beef, not prosciutto. Need I say more? We didn't complain, as we'd already asked if we could shift seats when we arrived, and didn't want to seem annoying. It's a bit funny to sub roast beef in place of prosciutto. Maybe they ran out? I'm not sure why this place has so many five stars. For us, this was a far cry from authentic Italian food. OK atmosphere if they don't sit you next to the coffee bar area where there is quite a lot noise (dishes clanking, coffee making). Friendly, tentative service.
Excellent. Got the pasta with Sardines. Endive salad and tiramisu were also delicious. $110 for 2 on Xmas Eve.
Authentic Italian cuisine Great service and helpful staff. Try the specials whatever they happen to be.
The bartender was very friendly. The atmosphere overall was nice. I loved the eggplant parm. The pineapple upside down cake was not good to me personally. It didn't taste like any I had ever had.
Yumm. It's Monday before December 24th and they are open!!! what's up Yelp?!! OPEN OPEN OPEN Love the atmosphere. Love the window seats and chowing down on the salads.
Ah, what a lovely restaurant. Max is wonderful. Our soup, salad, and pasta were delicious. Wine by the glass to compliment our meal was on spot.
Absolutely wonderful! Service was perfect, food was spectacular, and the atmosphere was exquisite. I Definitely recommend if Italian food is a favorite!
Excellent food, atmosphere and service
We had a great lunch at this place. Everything was delicious, pasta, appetizers. Great service, nice decor, convenient location on Warren Street.
Cute little Italian place in a quaint little town. Everything here was delicious and I'd come back if I'm ever visiting again. I highly recommend the rigatoni. It's soooo delicious!!!!
Had a great dinner at Ca'Mea. Very good Italian food, full bar and nice wine list, friendly servers. Ambiance is reminiscent of a small New York restaurant.
Had to send back the salad and replace it with another that was equally bad. Really poor quality pasta. Complete waste of money. Filling of ravioli was small and flavorless. Horrible place for food. Nice atmosphere.
Fabulous restaurant in Hudson! Great Italian dishes with fresh ingredients and served in a relaxed environment. The patio is great too. You won't be disappointed with a meal here. Enjoy!
We were visiting Hudson for the first time and Ca'mea was highly recommended- and it surely was amazing. We had the rigatoni ragu and ravioli, which were both delicious. The red sauce tasted fresh and the spinach ravioli struck the right balance between pasta and spinach. The Ragu was light and savory, just right. For dessert we had the tiramisu and carrot cake- both light and yummy. Undoubtedly recommend it!
Great atmosphere and restaurant. We had mozzarella and red roasted peppers for an app. We both enjoyed it. I had a cup of pumpkin squash soup which was excellent as was the trout almondine. I recommend this restaurant but be aware that it is pricey but certainly worth it.
It’s really hard to understand why this place has such a good rating. The service is good. But the food is ridiculously bad. Frozen seafood. Uncooked pasta. Dated look. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but it was our anniversary and I don’t want anyone to make the same mistake. Hard pass.
For the past several summers we have come to New Paltz for our vacation and make a day trip to Hudson followed by a special dinner at Ca’Mea to enjoy fresh, well prepared dishes that you would expect from NY Restaurants.
Wonderful dining, Great service
Delicious meal and the courtyard is so cute. Service was also really good too. My parents also went separately and loved it! Will be back
It was disorganized and the food was overpriced for what it was. The food was fine the wait was long though. Probably one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, but that isn’t saying much...
My pasta was not al dente. The service was fine but the wine was bad. Maybe this just a bad night. I have many friends who swear by this place. But I still would not recommend it to anyone looking for good Italian cuisinne.
Beautiful dishes and lovely garden!
Amazing food and service! Highly recommend!
We were seated in one of the bow windows, which was a delightful spot. Very good service and everything we ate was perfect.
Had a very fine meal with great service & a very lovely outdoor setting(could use some mandevilla flowering plants) Reasonable for high quality of food! Happy & will revisit soon
