Undeniably the blandest meal I’ve ever had in my life. It wasn’t bad per se, it was just wholly unremarkable and nothing had any flavor. Literally. Not even the salsa. Hard to believe, but completely devoid of flavor. We were lured in by the outdoor seating, but don’t be fooled. Service was nice, but completely inept. The bathroom (which was basically in the kitchen) had a sign that said not to flush anything, which apparently included toilet paper because the trashcan was filled with soiled TP - and there was no soap to wash my hands. Yikes.

As my first time there, the place has a little parking lot and has out more outdoor seating then in side the restaurant. It is family owned and feels like it too. Which brings me to the food. It was delicious 😋 all well cooked. So if I find myself in this town again I will be back. I had carne asada and one cheese pupusa. 👍🏼

Casa Latina has become a regular spot for me since moving to the area. The staff is super friendly and always really sweet! The enchiladas and pupusas are what keep me coming back time and time again. It doesn’t matter if you go with green or red sauce, both enchilada options are delicious! I will say the queso enchiladas are fantastic, but I don’t think there’s a wrong meat option, for real. For the pupusas I’m just a frijoles guy, but again, choose any of those! Bonus points for chips and salsa (6 out of 5 stars ?) If you’re visiting the area from out of town and want a really tasty local Mexican restaurant, ya must get to Casa Latina ???
