Dinner at Feast & Floret. Everything was cooked perfectly and plated to warm your appetite.
Starting with the escarole salad and two specials of the night:
-(Chitarra Pasta) with homemade brined sardines
-(Turnips) in a creamy truffle sauce.
For the main:
Chicken Milanesa and Short Ribs over Polenta. The pasta was a perfect Al Dente and the Polenta was a nice texture of light and creamy. The tenderness of the Short Ribs was a wonderful compliment to the Polenta.

In addition to the warm decor (atmosphere), the staff is welcoming and laid back but, also attentive.

Located in the city of Hudson NY and nearby Catskill, Feast and Floret offers a refined dining experience. Within walking distance to other area favorites.
If you're in town for the day or weekend there are plenty of things to do before or after lunch/dinner. Walk along Warren St and visit all the different shops (coffee, cheese, wine, clothing, art, antiques, theater, books and more).

Just ok. Great vibe in the dining room but some dishes fell short, for ex the arancini (too big, too much rice, way too little cheese). Porchetta was ok, but I was expecting more. Service was professional and competent.

Our dinner was mostly great..love the atmosphere..its so cozy, however a few misses..an old fashioned prepared in a hot glass, made for a watery drink, and the oxtail pappardelle had more salt than oxtail. The halibut special was excellent..arancini were cold in the middle, but even with these missteps, I would return.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at Feast & Floret- the ambiance is perfection. Romantic, dim lighting, beautifully and tastefully decorated.
Our waiter was great. Seemed knowledgeable and was attentive without being overbearing.
The food was a tad bit disappointing to me.
Also, my old fashioned cocktail was almost clear when served, and tasted watery.
My arancini Telefono was nice and crispy on the outside; but only warm on the inside, the cheese did not pull and was not melted. The flavor was bland, and it would have tasted better had it been served hot.
My papardelle with oxtail ragu was terribly over salted; and there was no oxtail in the sauce. I never find food to be salty, and usually add salt to my dishes- so for me to find it salty; it was definitely salty. The lack of oxtail in the dish was disappointing.
I’d go back for the atmosphere and service; and I would order differently. My companions were all very happy with their dishes, but they all agreed my dish was way too salty and lacked meat.

We came on a very busy night last Friday and we were the only walk-ins. We knew we would have a wait and after 30 minutes, we decided to take up the offer in the front outside patio. Although it was VERY cold outside, the patio was enclosed by heavy curtains and had 4 gas patio heaters which kept it comfortable enough to dine.

The food was amazing (we both had homemade pasta dishes).

When walking up the street towards our car, we were surprised by someone shouting at us to wait for him as he ran to us from the entrance. He identified himself as Joe, the GM of the restaurant. Joe noted that we had to wait a while for a table that was also outside (which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars for atmosphere) and he insisted that we accept a gift of their own honey from their farm.

This was such a generous and unexpected gesture!! We look forward to returning again, although we will book a table to make sure we can enjoy the beautiful atmosphere inside.

Food: we got the fennel salad, burrata, and cavatelli. Loved them all. Wanted to get more but we were too full, so we’re considering going back on our second and last evening in Husson.

Service: lovely, no notes.

Atmosphere: so cozy, but not in a “cozy-as-euphemism-for-tight” way but cozy as in it feels like you’re in your more elegant older cousin’s perfectly decorated, not too crowded, not too sparse country home for Christmas. All to say: I loved it.

We had dinner at Feast & Floret while celebrating a birthday, and while the food was excellent, the overall experience missed the mark.

The biggest issue was the service. Our server was difficult to understand, and the dining room was loud due to tight table spacing and music. We tried several times to get clarification on the specials, even asking other staff members, but no one seemed to know what they were. That was surprising and left us guessing about our options.

The greeting at the door also felt off. The host led with casual jokes that didn’t land and came across as dismissive rather than welcoming. It set an awkward tone for the evening.

The flower-shop concept is creative, and many guests seemed to enjoy it, but it takes up a large portion of the dining area. With retail displays in the middle of the room, the space felt crowded.

Throughout the meal the service felt rushed. Dishes were handed to us to distribute ourselves, and no one checked in until we were finished eating.

The food itself was delicious, but the service and ambiance overshadowed it. With some attention to service training and the overall guest experience, this could be a much stronger dining destination, but based on this visit we left disappointed.

Immaculate vibes and food. Shout out to the tiramisu which is the strongest tiramisu I’ve ever had in the best way.

Should out to Antoine and Dell and also who I presume is the manager because them along with the rest of the staff made me feel like family. It was warm and genuine.

I also needed accommodating because I had to take a work video call in the middle of dinner with friends and the staff was very kind to help me find a quiet place in the restaurant to take a call. Honestly, this is completely unnecessary on their part….and I really appreciated it.

i love this place. I love the people. I love the food.

My husband and daughter and I came to celebrate my 75th birthday. The atmosphere is delightful. Casual and cozy, but elegant. Service was impeccable
