Waygu Steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. Outdoor tent area was very comfortable and warm and a night in the high forties.

Had an incredible dining experience here a few years back that has stuck with me. Looking forward to returning after the pandemic.

Local residents and love this place. Its more of a place for me to go have a drink or two with my gf or a couple people and sit by the fire in the bar room. Friendly staff, quality products and awesome ambiance; amazing in its simplest form.

Nice guys serving really cool food. Look at the one star reviews, and you can see how unreasonable some of those people are being. Hurting a restaurant with the worst possible rating because you don't like their cancellation policy? Come on.

Excellent cocktails, design, service and vibe- let alone the main event of the food. Attention to detail and excellent cuisine. I’m partial to their lounge that chic with beautiful original art and comfortable chesterfields in leather. A must do and must have a coattail by their ever skilled mixologists.

Came here for dinner the day after Christmas. It’s a really cute place with an olde timey vibe. The food was very delicious, though the portions are quite small. The scallop dish is literally a single scallop with a smear of sauce. The Foie Gras was by far the best dish. The pasta with the trout roe was also quite delicious. The chocolate cremeux dessert was really good too. Overall, a really delicious meal but came at a high price.

Food and ambiance are outstanding.

A pretty little building. Artfully written marketing narratives. Interesting menu offerings fail to deliver the yum factor. Presentation not a feature. Hudson's priciest menu. For traveling gourmands. Condescending service. Try to consult a menu before reserving.

Very unique dining experiences at Fish and Game. We've enjoyed visiting for their tasting menus. The dishes are creative and locally sourced. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend visiting Fish and Game if you're an adventurous eater and are looking for a meal that is artfully conceived and prepared!

Great decor, great feel to the restaurant. But very expensive and good (not great) food.

The food was barely edible - overly salty, sauces were all similar, the lamb was improperly rendered and tasted old. The dessert was bland combined with unripe plums. A total disappointment. The wait staff was snotty unfriendly and inefficient. The portions are minuscule. The eggplant was horrible and the blueberry pie was not good. It was dreadful. This place is very pricey. The restaurant ambience itself is nice. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

TL;DR Overpriced, mediocre food at best. For the price to simply hold a reservation here, you can eat much better at a number of other restaurants in the area. First course we shared the hamachi and raw oysters. Hamachi was good (probably because they did nothing to it), but the oysters had blocks of pineapple vinegar sorbet dropped on each and every oyster that overpowered everything. The oysters would have been better served alone. Second course we had the scallops and mackrel. Mackrel was actually great! But the single scallop served was average at best, and served with a piece of chicharron that was probably pulled from a .99 cent bodega bag. Lastly, the local trout and fusilli al ferretto. The trout was prepared nicely, but the skin (usually my favorite part) was destroyed with salt. Veggies served with the trout were great. The fusilli was completely drenched with salt for whatever reason. Almost to the point of being inedible. Again, unfortunate, because the pasta itself was perfect. ALL IN ALL, doesn't come anywhere near meeting the hype. Ambience and service were great, but the food was really hit or miss. Skip this place and maybe they'll stop resting on laurels and make food that impresses again.

The ambiance and feels, they are what you’d expect...great. The food was fine at best, but not worth the price. The fixed menu is a big con when you consider the endless other options in town. The salad was bitter. The beef was fine. We stopped at a corner store after to get some snacks. Too many other great options in town.

If you are reading this, do not listen to any of the negative reviews. This restaurant is fantastic. It’s beautiful inside and it’s an amazing experience eating here.
