Went to Maker Lounge for late night cocktails on a Saturday night and it did not disappoint. Who doesn’t like a moody bar?! We were able to snag a seat at the bar and the drinks were lovely. Honestly the Old man and the Sea was one of the best cocktail I had in a while.

Finally had a chance to try this place all by accident. My sister and I had a night out, and while walking in Hudson, we decided to try it out.The food was the surprise. We tried the chicken milanese, and wow! Drinks were delicious! Decor wasn't what I was expecting and wow! Love it. Beautiful wood panels, mix in with vintage fixtures and complimentary furniture.Unfortunately, not cheap. However, it was delicious and we had a great experience, so I was fine splurging a bit.Only somewhat negative was that they made a mistake mixing tip numbers after I had signed and paid. Caught this while looking at my bank statement. Called and Tommy the manager was excellent. He was attentive and resolved the issue within 24 hours.Will definitely come back. And highly recommend it!

The staff was so rude and unwelcoming as if we were inconveniencing them by being there. They made the experience extremely unenjoyable. We also had to wait an hour despite it being fairly empty the whole time. Not to mention the drinks were nothing special at all.

Tommy, the monday through thursday bartender is the man. The food and drink is always spot on. Just come in and relax with no expectations. You will leave feeling better.

We arrived in a group and the attitude of the staff is TERRIBLE!!!!! Entitled, and rude - I have never seen something like this. We were 22 people and the waitress was annoyed with our order, every two seconds giving attitude.This is not a place to visit. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I called from Louisville,KY to make a reservation and was told first come first serve.Opens at 5pm.Wife and I arrived at 5:11pm and host says we are full . She told me the empty sofa was reserved? Remember they don't take reservations ?We asked to sit at the bar and she said they were understaffed and we could go on a waiting list. Really!!! 20min or so.We left and went to Pandrona bar down the street. Morgan the bartender was very friendly and made good drinks.Don't go to the Maker bar. They were rude.?
Rude and inhospitable staff. Our host/server appeared extremely bothered by every request and met each order with an eye roll. The reason for her coarse treatment was inexplicable and started the moment we walked in just after they opened. She made it so uncomfortable our group cancelled our order and walked out. It was especially disappointing because we had built up expectations with the friends we were hosting only to be treated with disdain. Absolute shame.

today we went to“The maker lounge” with a group of friends and we were served by a very unpleasant and not at all professional young woman!!! The place is great but she made our experience unpleasant and it's a shame because she lost a good number of customers through her very arrogant behavior! I therefore strongly advise against this place!!!!

I have never been faced with this type of unwelcoming service as I have at this establishment. As a group of friends coming to socialize we were greeted by the worst kind of customer service, unfriendly demeanor and made to feel as we were inconveniencing THEM, turning us off from the start. And it went downhill from there.If I was the owner of this establishment I would want to know and invest in training my staff on customer service as my top priority!

Went in with a group of friends and were treated rudely from the moment we walked in. We are all from NYC so used to these kind of places but the treatment at this place was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The one woman working there wouldn’t let 2 of our friends sitting at the bar turn around to face the group of us. And the treatment got worse and worse until we all walked out without getting our drinks. If you’re looking for a friendly place don’t go here.

Cocktails so well made that we ended both evenings in town here. Every one was expertly made with the best ingredients and by wonderful and highly knowledgeable mixologists. Ambiance was beautiful! As another reviewer said, they must have spent a fortune on the design and renovation.While some other reviewers have complained about the "high prices", I found them reasonable for what you got. Many of the ingredients had to be custom made ahead of time in small batches, which takes time and effort. As will much else in this town, the prices were similar to what you'd find in large cities, but unlike much of the overpriced and under-delivered food found in Hudson, these cocktails were appropriately priced for the great ris delivered. Note: We did not try the food. Was also nice to see female mixologists.
