I live in AZ and this is the 3rd year I have come back to visit dear friends and do so around the Upper Depot Brewing's Octoberfest. Sure the renovated train station is a wonderfully developed space, the outdoor deck and patio are a great place to share a brew, but it is the delightful and flavorful beers and the warm, kind, and engaging staff that makes this establishment stand out. From thousands of miles away, it feels like a home spot and my palate never lacks for being pleased with the brews. They are committed to their craft and to the local community. It is always a treat to come visit. Here's to the continued growth of the Octoberfest festival to becoming a "must do" on everyone's fall calendar.

Stones throw from return, but a whole different vibe. Upper Depot is AWESOME! This place say for 50+ years until the owners revamped it.
Huge outdoor patio, awesome interior, and the bar is a fantastic place to hangout and watch a game. For more seating they have an upstairs mezzanine that gives that cool warehouse vibe.
The beer is fantastic, enjoyed the lovely festbier which is not too bitter….perfect. The owner’s wife was working the bar and filled us in on the awesome story this place wen through.
Gotta give them more love and stop by on your Hudson bar crawl.

Beautiful rejuvenation of an old train depot into a brewery. That historical preservation warms my heart. The owners were present onsite and were very engaging with the customers. I was impressed!

Wonderful brewery in Hudson NY.
The beers are good and the staff was friendly and welcoming. That alone makes it worth going but the bonus is how dog friendly they are.
We were able to enjoy a flight and more with my lil pup right at the bar (she loves sitting with me on her own seat).
It makes a difference and brings a smile. So for that I say thank you and next time I’m in Hudson we will be back.
And to boot the old train stop location is beautiful!

Called in to see if they are dog friendly. From the way they answered my simple question I knew it was gonna be a good experience. They had treats for my dog and a water bowl as well. Everyone kindly asked if they could pet her and was very happy she was with us. The bartender and the owner along with all of the patroons were incredible nice and inviting. Had a flight of beer before deciding on the NEIPA. (Not a bad beer in the flight) 10/10 will be back!
