The tiramisu at Via Cassia in Hudson, NY is absolutely exceptional — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s perfectly balanced: rich and creamy mascarpone layered with delicate, espresso-soaked ladyfingers that melt in your mouth without being soggy. The dusting of cocoa on top adds just the right touch of bitterness to complement the sweetness. Every bite feels light yet indulgent, with that authentic Italian flavor that’s hard to find outside of Italy.
Honestly, I came in here without an appetite, and I had the BEST pasta I’ve ever had in my life! Gorgeous place. Owner has a cute dog. Can tell they are serious about customer service. I love this place, would come again 10000%.
The patio is beautiful place to sit. Not sure if they were understaffed but seemed a lot of people pull double duty and service felt a bit rushed in my interactions with staff, while the actual service took a bit longer than I'm used to. Not a problem though as I was forcing myself to slow down that night anyway. The food was DELICIOUS and well worth every penny. Goodness that pasta makes me sad I'm not local to eat there again. Seasonal cheesecake was a wonderful change...
