This must have been the smallest maki rolls I have ever seen. Was barely thicker than the middle finger of my six year old daughter. Maybe tops 15 ricegrains were hugging eachother inside of the seaweed paper. Also teriyaki the same as aged tofu. Deep fried everything. Luckily not the tiny maki rolls. 😅

The food is average. The service is usually pleasant. With respect to atmosphere, it’s dismal and I usually want to eat and leave as quickly as possible. Also, they don’t adhere to their posted hours and close the kitchen before 10:30 on Saturdays.

I was so tired that I accidentally ordered a sashimi plate instead of a nigiri plate. No matter—they brought me a bowl of rice, free of charge, and no, I didn't even have to ask for it. It's this level of mind reading that's lost on the newer generation of servers. Well done, five stars.

Here is my detailed opinion on this establishment. Ambiance and Decor: Upon entering, Wasabi's warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately appealed to me. The decor is both modern and traditional, and Japanese with very American accents, which create a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Soft lighting and comfortable furniture add to the overall experience. And there is air conditioning, it was excessively hot that day. Service: The service at Wasabi is impeccable. The staff is attentive, courteous and always ready to meet customer needs. The speed and efficiency of the service also contributed to making my visit pleasant. Quality of Dishes: The quality of dishes at Wasabi is good. I had the opportunity to taste some super good Rolls, all of great and expected freshness. The ingredients used are obviously of good quality, and the presentation of the dishes is neat and appetizing. And there were Robinos, which is rare in an American Japanese restaurant.
Value for money: The quality/price ratio at Wasabi is expensive like all American restaurants for French people. However, for Americans the prices are very reasonable. Considering the quality of the ingredients and the level of service, the prices charged are justified. The portions are generous. Wasabi in Hudson, NY, is a restaurant I highly recommend. Whether you are a connoisseur of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a new dining experience, this restaurant will satisfy you.
