We had a memorable experience as we were able to enjoy our flight of wine with our dog in this dog-friendly atmosphere. The wine flight showcased 6 different wines, both red and white, from New York's Hudson Valley and Long Island vineyards. The wines ranged from light to full-bodied. All were delicious, with some being award winning. The wine paired perfectly with the cheese and crackers which we chose from the numerous offerings. Great place to relax and mingle with new friends.

Wonderful view. Wine was very good. Service and upkeep of outside area was poor. Tables needed cleared, chair needed repair ~ general yard work needed.

We had a great time and a great host!

Great....small sitting area, small charge for tastings

The vineyard itself was lovely, and the wine was just okay. I maybe have 2 favorites from the flight we ordered. Not bad, but nothing that stood out. Unfortunately, the service really brought the experience down. One of my friends ordered a cheese board, and instead of a prepared plate, we were handed a packaged block of cheese, a knife, and a board with a casual “you can cut it yourselves.” What made it worse was seeing other customers receive properly arranged cheese boards so the inconsistency was frustrating.

While I appreciate the relaxed, rustic vibe they might be going for, the service lacked the polish and attentiveness you’d hope for at a vineyard. With some improvements in hospitality and consistency, this place could be a great spot. But based on our visit, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending it to friends just yet.

Stopped here on our way home from Pennsylvania just to let the kids out of the car to walk around and get a break. My husband did a glass and I did a tasting. The wine was all warm and the person working wasn’t very friendly. She barely said hello, didn’t ask how the wine was when I checked out or anything. I did a sweet wine tasting and they were out of the last one and she replaced it with something from a bourbon barrel. Definitely not sweet. I couldn’t even drink it and had to give it to my husband.

A very picturesque and charming place, with vast green spaces, tree-lined areas, mountain views, and plenty of benches where you can relax, sip wine, and take stunning photos. We tried two sets of six wines each (served in small tasting glasses)—some were quite good, while others were average. You can also purchase bottles of any wine you like.

The best part, of course, was sitting outdoors amidst nature, enjoying our wine with fresh cherries that we picked right from the trees—a truly delightful experience! Place is very near to Hudson and Catskill towns.

What a great afternoon spent at Whitecliff on the Hudson River. I didn't white flight and then we wound up drinking another bottle there. Got some cheese and crackers to pair with. Love the atmosphere and the views. Very dog friendly. Lisa our wine lady was amazing with her descriptions and advice

Had a wonderful experience at the Whitecliff Winery. For starters their wines are outstanding and what we learned almost all made from their estate grown grapes. We were very impressed. They also offered a wonderful selection of local cheese, ciders, beer, gourmet chocolates and more. The staff was also very gracious, knowledgeable and the atmosphere was very warm and friendly including the patrons. Their indoor space which is like being outdoors was inviting and their outdoor tables amongst the apples trees and views of the vineyards and beautiful Catskill mountains is really breathtaking. Our dog also loved the treats and water provided by the staff. So sweet! We just signed up for their wine club which is such an outstanding deal. More than to happy to patronage this local, family run business. Also how lucky we were to catch this rainbow over Olana as we were departing. Cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful place and even better company! The staff is always so sweet and accommodating. Jackie, lisa, Charlie and the whole crew really make you feel welcome and at home. My sister is getting married this year and all of whitecliffs wines and champagne will be served.

You can sit inside on rainy days or enjoy the weather on a sunny day! My fiancé and I will definitely be back!

Stopped in on a quiet rainy afternoon and had some flights. Some of the wines were really interesting but some were just ok! Affordable. The tasting room felt a little shabby and the service was a little lacking. We were the only ones there and the server poured our wines (which were frankly a bit warm!) and then never really spoke to us again or engaged us in any conversations about the wine or winery, which is part of the experience when visiting small wineries that I really enjoy. Would be nice to visit with a group and sit outside for an event I’m sure but there was just no hospitality feeling experience when we went and the space was kind of messy and not very inviting.

Whitecliff Vineyard is a fun spot near the Rip Van Winkle Bridge — definitely worth a visit while you’re in Hudson. The tasting room is small and intimate, which gives it a really cozy, personal vibe, and the bartenders were fantastic!

The Reserve Chardonnay and Sky Island Red were real standouts. There’s not much in the way of food beyond typical snacks, but that’s pretty standard for a tasting room.

Overall, a great place to stop for a tasting and enjoy some quality wines!
