Heard a lot about this cafe so decided to finally check it out. Ordered a cortado and a cinnamon roll. The guy with the white long hair that takes the orders is not that nice so that kinda takes away from the whole experience from the get go. The cinnamon roll was not bad but didn’t feel super fresh. Coffee was great and so is the atmosphere outside. Overall a nice cafe if you’re in the Hunter area but service can definitely be better.

The coffees and pastries here are excellent but have to leave a review because of the amazing service here.

We were stopping by after a trip to hunter and my wife spilled our coffees all over our cars. We went inside to ask for paper towels to try to at least dry up a little of the massive pools of liquid sloshing around our car and the barista voluntarily asked if we had spilled and then immediately offered to make our drinks again.

We did not expect anything of the sort, but that is really kind service that should be recognized and rewarded. Thanks again, will be stopping by anytime we are in the area next time

wow. what a gem of a cafe in hunter, ny! had the pleasure of trying a bunch of drinks.

note: these were caffeinated af. both a good and bad thing depending on who u are, but i was SHAKIN

- loved the channel orange (latte w orange vanilla syrup and chocolate!)
- latte was suuuuper yum and creamy. lots of different milk options. espresso flavour strong af
- the iced teas were chefs kiss
- cinnamon buns were soooo good! the frosting was a delicious cream cheese but not tooooo sweet
- I thought the tahini brownie was eh, but a great fudgy-gritty texture if you like that

thx for existing!

Ate a lunch here during our stay in Hunter and had one of the best Rachel sandwiches I’ve ever had. Absolutely worth a stop in here!

Casually elegant. Good coffee, solid egg & cheese on brioche – great place to bring friends, or a book

Stopped in on a snowy Saturday at 12:30pm. The joint was jumping. Ordered at the counter, paid, and stood around scanning for a table to open up. One of us ordered a bowl of tomato soup and when the runner brought it over, commented "$10 for this?". The runner seemed insulted and that set the tone for the rest of the experience. 2 of us ordered the Lockwood sandwich which was good. My other companion inquired with the staff on the lack of cheese listed in the menu description but not recognizable in the sandwich. They ignored us for a while and she went up again to inquire and was told that there absolutely was cheese on the sandwich. My sandwich also had no recognizable cheese, but I don't really like cheese so I didn't mind. Overall a convenient place to stop for a decent food selection. Don't understand the need to tip though, we performed all of the functions that you tip for. They just need to call our names to pick up our order instead of a food runner and we'd have done it all.

I recently visited Fellow Mountain Cafe and was blown away by their infamous cinnamon roll and BEC. The cinnamon roll was the perfect blend of sweetness and spice, a delightful treat that left me craving for more. The BEC was equally impressive, with each bite bursting with flavor. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. A must-visit spot if you're in the area!
