Came here before leaving hunter mountain. The majority of us ordered the Gateway burger, medium rare, and we ordered different sides (regular chips, onion rings, and sweet potato fries) so that we could try all of them and share. The onion rings and sweet potato fries cost $3 extra. All 3 were solid options! The regular chips are more like kettle chips and very fried and crispy! Perfectly salted as well. The sweet potato fries were not as crispy but still very honey sweet, but...
I really don't understand why this place is so low rated. I have been coming here for the past 3 years. Have been here many times in different seasons. The food is good and consistent, the drinks and beers are tasty and reasonably priced, the view is magnificent and the service is decent. Bottom line come in, taste the food and drinks and enjoy the vibe and view
