Jagerberg is an awesome spot right next to the entrance of Hunter Mountain. Delicious German fare for food with an extensive beer, wine, and cocktail menu!

Came for dinner and was so glad to have made a reservation the day before because they were very busy! Our server Michelle was delightful and so nice. The only issue we had was when ordering the German potato salad we did not know it had large chunks of bacon in it so the only critique is that we wished the menu had clearly noted which side dishes had meat mixed in to them as my friend is not able to eat bacon and was pretty startled after a few bites when they noticed the pieces mixed in.

Jägerberg Beer Hall was not what we expected and let my party and I down. I believed that they would know how to handle a crowd by now, but oh man I was wrong. We waited and waited for our food for what seemed like an eternity . We were left sitting there with no waiter checking in or asking if we'd like another drink. Not the most enjoyable experience. On top of that, the food was far too expensive for what we got. $28 for a sad bland schnitzel? Hmm I don't think so. Sadly, this dinner was a bust and it definitely didn't check our boxes.

Jägerberg beer hall was a complete letdown. The service was shockingly slow and indifferent, turning a simple meal into a frustrating ordeal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making it difficult to get basic assistance. The quality of the food and drinks was far from impressive. The menu boasted variety, but the execution was lackluster. The flavors were bland, and the presentation was uninspiring. Considering the prices, I expected a much more enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, Jägerberg failed to deliver on every front, leaving me with a regrettable experience. Save yourself the disappointment and explore other options

Six stars for food and service. Excellent gluhwein mulled wine is homemade. I have a potatoe soup and a German burger. It's absolutely amazing food quality and price combination.

Stoped in at Jagerberg for Après-ski brunch - lunch. Opened with a Hofbrau Dunkel which hit the spot. Dark amber and flavorful. I then ordered the Frickadellen which is there take on a German burger of sorts. Ground beef and pork patty with cheese, mustard, horse radish and pickle served on a pretzel roll with a side of German potato salad. It definitely had a German flair and I really liked it. All in all it was an excellent experience. My only knock is that the menu was quite limited and didn't include very many German staples. While working up an appetite skiing I was looking forward to having a brat or two and perhaps a knockwurst. None were on the menu. Perhaps it was just the day I was there? Even so, I had an excellent experience and will definitely drop in again the next time I'm in Hunter. Oh, I sat at the bar and the service was on point. The ambiance is pretty basic. The decor is somewhat German but not over the top.

Both the service and the food were excellent! Being the first time at this restaurant I asked the server for recommendations, and she mentioned the most popular dish at the restaurant (see picture because I don’t remember the name ;) Amazing! We tried three deserts too that were delicious. The cheese fondue appetizer was to die for. 100% recommended if you’re visiting the area.

Our group of six arrived for a late lunch. We were seated promptly. They seemed to be understaffed, but the servers were friendly and seemed to be doing their best. We all enjoyed our meals, which were nice and hearty. They have a nice beer selection and a decent number of special drinks, although they ran out of the hot cider after we ordered. I loved the Bavarian ski lodge design and decor. Overall, a great place to stop in after skiing or hiking in the area.

Came up to Hunter for a snowboard trip, I’m not sure if this place is new or I’ve just never heard of it but it’s my first German Restaurant experience. I wasn’t expecting one of the best meals I’ve ever had when I walked in. Very low key and unassuming place. The menu was small but diverse. I purposely ordered something different than my two friends because I like trying new things and figured I could try some of theirs. I never got a chance to try theirs because once I took my first bite I didn’t look up until I was too stuffed to move. I don’t think it matters what you order because both of my friends had the same reaction. I can’t wait to get back up there not for the mountain but for Jagerburg.

my family and I had the chance to dine several times at Jagerberg this past year. Each time all our meals were fantastic everyone one enjoyed various authentic German appetizers and entries. The food is fantastic. I also can't say enough about the service Michelle provide. She waited on us several times. The first time we were quite early before they opened. She actually came outside and said we could come in a bit early enjoy a drink while the kitchen gets ready......who does that!! So glad she did as we had an awesome time. All the people there a friendly and professional. Highly recommend if I could give 6 stars I wouldDave and Sandy from CT

First time here, we had a very sweet waitress. The flatbread appetizer we ordered (not gonna try to spell it) was amazing, being so far from the city I wasn't expecting such a good crust! For the entree, my wife had the chicken shnitzel, which was good, however I took a shot in the dark and ordered a sausage dish, can't remember the name..... But my god, it was amazing. It came with the best sour kraut I've ever had in my life.It will be a few years before I'm in this area again, but when I am, I will be back.

We love this place! We go off-season, so we never have a problem getting in. It's a little loud but the staff is really friendly. The food is good and the drinks are great. One of our favorites in the area.
