Made OT reservation for dinner on Aug 10. When I arrived on time the restaurant was closed with a sign on the door saying “Closed for Renovations”. There was another party outside who also made reservations waiting for their guests so they could go elsewhere. I should give this a 1 rating but I've had many good meals at 7G and would rather not affect their rating too much. HOWEVER, they should remove themselves from the OT reservation system until such time they reopen.

Our waiter Patrick T was perfect the entire time. He was the only server on the Wednesday evening with about 10 tables during our date night. He made sure that everything came out how we wanted it and constantly checked on us. All while taking the best care of a lot of other tables. Patrick made our entire evening and was the absolute best!! :)

Patrick is fantastic. He was WORKING so hard the entire night managing many tables seamlessly. Food was great and Patrick made it better!

We came here on a Saturday night for dinner and everything was top tier! The decor of this restaurant is so well done and thought out; chic chandeliers with a luxurious vibe! We had a variety of drinks and every dish we had was fantastic! Definitely try the cauliflower Buffalo bites and the calamari for appetizers, so good! 7 Gerard is a hit; 10/10 would recommend! :)

Ugh, not great. Menu was uninspiring and the food was lackluster. The serviche....normally full of flavor, had no flavor. My drink came in glass that looked like a water glass. Very dissapointing.

Loved this place! Food was fabulous and appropriately priced. Ambience is a 10/10 - it's obvious they put a lot of great taste and thought in the design. Staff were great and sat us exactly where we requested! Thank you!

Sunday brunch should not be crazy expensive. They charged extra for everything. Yes, place is cute, brunch food is good, eggs, pancakes, coffee, etc. We had a good time because of the music, plus you can dance In the future, if they have music and dancing

A wonderful venue for a special occasion. The setting, the staff and the food were fantastic. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Highly recommend 7 Gerard!

Food was not great. Service was not great. Ambiance was not great. Not sure if dinner is better than brunch, or we got them on an off day, but I wouldn't recommend it. It was edible, but none of us 3 were like wow this is good.

The website makes this restaurant very enticing. Great menu selections. Aesthetically the restaurant is pretty but the service needs help. Sat at the bar for happy hour and there are 3 bartenders and it took forever to get a drink and it was not crowded. Food came - calamari served in a bowl and wasn't much in there. I understand it's the happy hour special price. But nothing special about it. Went down the street to Bar Petit- one waitress for the entire restaurant and she was faster then the 3 bartenders put together. It's a shame because it has potential- just lack of supervision. Greeting customers quickly- and when the person out of the kitchen delivers the food maybe make sure we have plates. The staff just needs more training and cohesiveness. TWO Dollars added to my bill because I asked for blue cheese olives in my martini????????? I have never heard of such a thing. And not told when I ordered. Insulting given your prices. Not even top places in NYC do that.

I made reservations over a week ago for brunch Sunday May 22nd. First lucky I saw my email saying the reservation was canceled. I call the restaurant to find out why and the gentleman answering the phone was so rude and said some brunch event I could purchase tickets too was taking place. I simply said you shouldn't allow reservations to made that day it is ruining my plans. With an attitude he said open table is blocked, well clearly when I made the Reservation it was not. With a co tinyed attitude he just could care less. I asked for a manager because of his attitude of course not available but I will be calling back and I will be spreading the word. Terrible business.

Early Friday drinks and dinner. Hummus and tuna tartare appetizers both delicious. Curry with chicken added plentiful and very tasty. My buddy had the fish and was very satisfied. Pour of my Balvenie was a tad too “measured”. Atmosphere is great, good vibe without being too loud to chat. Live music a nice touch. Separate bar and levels is useful and attractive.Well worth a return.

It seemed like the wait staff and runner were fairly new. There was a mixup with one of our orders, and the wrong dish was delivered to the table. When the second order, French toast, was reheated, the bottom sides of the pieces were burnt. Jay, our waiter, apologized as did the runner. Both were very nice. I haven't been here in a while, so I may give it one more try before I'd recommend it to anyone.

We were so disappointed by the food. The shrimp scampi was some weird dish with ravioli, shrimp and a ton of spinach leaves. The house salad was 60% shredded carrots. There is one plant-based option which is curry, not a very creative dish and an old school go-to when chefs didn't know how to make anything else for vegans. The “bread and oil” app came with the saddest little pita triangles, same with the hummus. Even the club soda in our cocktails was flat. The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is so nice which is why I've tried it twice but can't see myself going again.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was very nice. The food was boring although we did both order steak frite. We also had the avocado hummus with basically one sliced up pita. The beignets were tasty. Nothing notable but the service
