Being from Texas I am extremely particular about Tex-Mex and I have to say this place is FANTASTIC. The meat is cooked to perfection, it’s buttery and melts in your mouth like a slow cooked meat should. The sauces are *chefs kiss* and the chicken corn chowder soup is absolutely divine. I came here pregnant and ordered the most annoying/difficult order and they were happy to make it exactly how I requested it and it SATISFIED every craving I had. I cannot recommend this spot enough.

Food was very good but when one of my friends asked the counter person for sour cream and was willing to pay extra the counter person was very rude and seemed bothered. So weird.

Good food. Had a burrito the 1st time and then a steak rice bowl. Very tasty. And their chips and queso are delicious. Will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. I dropped in with my family. Each of us ordered entrees that we passed around and complimented. This isn't a high culture spend-a-thon like Besito's. This is a burrito/taco joint. But for a simple place, the food was spot on. These are better burritos, by a mile, than Aunt Chilada's, which is under-seasoned and filled with gobs of grilled vegetables. Also, portion sizes are based on actual human consumption needs and limits, and are not spawned by college eating memories involving some late-night burrito place serving burritos the size of a breadbox (i.e., Fat Boys). That means your burrito won't be crammed with rice, bagged cheese, or jalapeno poppers. Anyway, I enjoyed it. Two problems: 1) they don't bring meals to the table together. They seem to bring each as they roll out of the kitchen. Aside from encouraging people to eat at different times, they forgot to bring my son's food. I was nearly done by the time my wife asked about his meal, reminding them to make it. 2) Maybe it was just when I visited, but all the furniture was tacky. Not unclean (it's a pleasant environment) but high-humidity tacky. Conclusion -- I look forward to dining there again!
