Incredibly patient and sweet ladies behind the counter. It's a shame that they have to close.
Had some get me a sandwich. And there where two long hairs in it. When came back in to let young ladies know what had happened. Was meet with "What do you want me to do". I am a person that appreciate a good meal. When met with disappointment and uncaring about the food that you serve leave a bad taste in my mouth. This leaves me with not wanting to come back
Hands down best book store on Long Island. SHOP LOCAL
Very good waffles and the coffee is delicious
Nestled in the streets of Huntington, adjacent to the harbor extending into the sound, with the bustle of the village down the road, Café Revue has so much to offer. Be not overly amazed by Book Reveu to miss this tiny but perfect spot to sit down to read your favorite book, all the while drinking on the beloved Southdown Coffee while eating a La Belle vegan biscotti. Plus, the vegan chilli looks to die for. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Selling books. My daughter called the book store and asked if they accepted text books. They told her yes, and they went over what books, titles and conditions. the person on the other end of the phone told her yes and she would need to see the condition of the book first to give a price. we made a 2pm appointment. We went, on time, and waited. The staff person looks at the books and says " We don't take text books". My daughter tries to explain she called and reviewed, but the staff person cut her off and said they should have told you over the phone. the sheer disregard for our time and her lack of patience made me put back 6 of the books I was purchasing for gifts. she could have been nicer. Will never go back.
great selection of books and customer service!
Great little cafe located within a great little bookshop. Remember bookshops? Good sandwiches, salads, coffee, etc. Good place to ruminate, lunch and start that new novel you just bought. Within the bustling town of Huntington.
My experience at Café Revue, as both an employee, and as a customer has been nothing short of amazing. The amount of care put in by Carlos and Patrick, as well as the rest of the fantasic people who work there is truly something special. Not to mention the coffee and food is great. My go to is definitely the Caprese and a Mocha. If you ever have the opportunity to go to this terrific place, you absolutely should.Much love!!
my husband and I love this place. great selection of books and book-ish merchandise. we can spend hours here. the coffee shop is great too.

You guys are the best! Best coffee, pastries, cookies and sandwiches. That maple whip is insane! We are nurses and always order from you guys for 5 East Huntington Hospital. Thank you so much for always throwing in some cookies, they brighten our days during this awful time. We can't wait to come in and see you guys once this all over. Stay safe and thanks again!
Book Revue is one of the best (and last remaining) independent book stores on Long Island and a must on any trip through Huntington Village. The selection of new and older books is incredible; there really is something for everyone including a fantastic children's section. Don't have what you're looking for? They will order it for you. They even have a few spots to sit and read as well as a great little independent Cafe.
Great little place in Huntington. A Bookshop here also where you can browse and have a coffee and some lunch.
The staff is wonderful, book readings/signings are fantastic!
Love the triple hot chocolate with chocolate whipped cream, cappuccino, iced coffee, cold brew, and the London fog! Tables and chairs to sit and do work. Love it
