We had dined here once before and everything was nice ! They were even accommodating to our 2 toddler grandkids! Upon going back on 11/8/25 our experience was completely different. We sat at our table way too long being unattended. We needed to order more cocktails and our bread tray was empty. After realizing we had been waiting well over 1 hour for our main course my husband called our waiter over and asked what was happening in the kitchen? He said that it was busy which is completely understandable on a Saturday night . About 10 min later our food came out and all 4 main courses were cold or room temperature. We told our waiter. He didn't offer to take them back to the kitchen to re heat so we ate our dinners quietly and were all very unhappy! The manager told us to have dessert on the house which was kind , but when the bill came all 4 desserts were charged to us. Embarrassingly we had to bring our waiter's attention to that ! Too many slip ups for an expensive restaurant in the heart of Huntington Village NY !
It was my first time there. It was a Thursday night and the place was empty. I do not know why. The food was absolutely delicious. All five in my party agreed , and we all ate different things.
Always amazing! Food is great - consistency for the last 15 years is the key to success! Lamp chops are my favorite and the pork chops my wife's !
Absolutely delicious food and excellent service. My favourite place for dinner in Huntington!

The paella wasn’t a real paella, paella should be crispy at the bottom but the rice was liquidy and almost soupy, the meat was oily, wasn’t all that great. The foundue wasn’t spectacular. The tres leches was fantastic at least. I’d go back for the tres leches but nothing else. The staff was also very friendly.

Ordered the gnocchi with short rib. Instead of short rib it came with morsels of overcooked steak. No mention of the substitution. Would have sent back but didn't want to make a fuss with friends at the table. Why not mention it when I placed the order? Overall wasn't a good meal.
We went on 8/29/25 to celebrate my mom’s b-day. Appetizers, entrees and dessert were delicious. The desserts were a little small for my taste, however everything else was good.

Beautiful mid sized bistro with a South American flair right in the heart of Huntington. Nice white tablecloths. Servers were well dressed. The food was excellent, very well seasoned. the potatoes were nice and crisp and the Omelette was very fluffy. A lovely place for lunch or dinner

A fantastic meal Lobster empanadas were awesome and the gnocchi with scallops amazing. The mixed grill for 2 was also perfectly cooked! The service was extraordinary as our waiter Benjamin R. was pleasant, kind and professional. Dont miss the chocolate fondue for dessert
My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Buenos Aires Cafe. We had tapas and they have a broad tapas menu to choose from. Food was very good, they have an extensive drink menu, and our service was excellent. Our waiter made a couple of suggestions from the menu and he was spot on!

Haven't been to Cafe Buenos Aires for awhile & it was well worth returning. Love the diverse menu selections which include both tapas & full dinner dishes. There is a tapas section dedicated to gluten free dishes only. I had 3 of the best dishes that I can recall: beet & quinoa appetizer (shared), 2 tapas dishes, octopus (pulpo) & paella. All excellent. My partner had dates with bacon that she thoroughly enjoyed. W Place was quiet & service attentive. Will return soon.
We enjoyed our dinner, the restaurant was very nice. The food was good, not great. It was a 40 minute drive for us, so unless we are in the vicinity, we probably won't return.
We went to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends and were seated at a long table for 9 people in the center of the dining room. The servers were attentive and the food for everyone was excellent. One minor delay was for my friend's meal - the Messi Burger, so we did feel bad eating even though she encouraged us to eat. The staff brought over a nice dessert with candle and serenaded us on guitar and sang Happy Birthday. One of my favorite restaurants in Huntington!
Delicious tapas including empanadas, octopus that was so tender and the steak and sausage fondue was a winner. If you go in a group, then you get to try different dishes by ordering the tapas. Paella for 2 was enough for 3 or 4. If you love fish then choose the sole. Definitely a restaurant you will want to experience more than once.
Great food, great servers and great drinks. I will definitely go back here again. It's worth going back just for the sangria but the food is also excellent.
