Catalina's Bake Shop

Was passing by Long Island for a job and saw this bakery. Great atmosphere and great staff especially the desserts. I got the Ferrero Rocher dessert and it was amazing. As a culinary student this spot is on top in the area.

Thank you, Catalina, for a beautiful custom bear-themed cake for my nephew's 1st birthday! Everyone loved it, and it turned out even better than the inspiration photo. We didn't want to cut the cake until the very last minute. The cake also tasted delicious - her buttercream and ganache are amazing! It was a pleasure working with her, so don't hesitate to contact her if you need a custom cake :)

Great empanadas and baked goods

BEST empanadas ever. Best cakes and desserts too. Such a cute place and Catalina (owner) is the best. 11/10 bake shop. Price is more than worth it

What an amazing experience I had working with Catalina !! My goal was to a special Cake for my nephews 18th birthday.

I wanted a cake that looked like a Guitar, not any Guitar but his favorite guitar.
Thats what I wanted, that was exactly what I got.
We could not have been happier with the cake Catrina produced. The end product was more a work of art than food.
Not to say the cake was not delicious, cause it was amazing.

Catrina is such a warm and kind person, I will be sure to visit her business at every opportunity and so should you.

Ordered a custom strawberry shortcake for my daughters 1st birthday! The cake was outstanding in both design and taste and the service was fantastic. Will definitely return for my sons birthday cake soon. Also, the empanadas are delicious! Highly highly recommend!

Went to catalinas today, tried a beef empanada and veggie empanada and they were outstanding!!! Raspberry granola bar is dynamite and she also gave us 2 mexican wedding cookies which are delish!!! We will be back to try other goodies!! Very very nice!

Came Nov 2 still selling most Halloween decorated bakeries then you clearly know they are all left overs. Then how fresh the other bakery will be.

I tried the chicken empanada and beef empanada. The beef empanada reminds me of the exact flavor of this Chinese pork bun we have in my culture. Really loved the beef empanada paired with the green sauce!
