Worked here 3 years ago as a high schooler: Owner needs to take up a new profession where she doesn’t communicate with others. She was genuinely such a mean woman to work with as she overstepped professional boundaries in her insults and criticism very often. It’s important to note her comments were not only were personal and demeaning in nature but often were shared while she was raising her voice at me, a 17 year old employee. I hope she has changed her habits as an employer as I genuinely believe her treatment of workers was completely unacceptable.

Getting good tea is complicated. Mall tea stores are a ripoff and ordering from a reputable online vendor removes the personalized experience.
Clipper Ship Tea Company is a local tea shop with excellent quality tea and very knowledgeable staff.
I was able to walk in and speak to the staff about my likes and dislikes. I was offered several options and based on those discussions I was able to make an informed decision about what I should buy.
I will never get tea from anywhere else.

I recently ordered some tea from Clipper Ship. It arrived without issue, but through a glitch with their packing label printer, I also wound up with another customer’s order by mistake. Upon reaching out to let them know, I was informed that they were already sending a replacement order to the other customer and I could keep the tea. Beyond their great customer service and fast response time, I want to point out their attention to detail. I often receive small sample packets when I order tea (from many companies) and what really struck me was that the folks at Clipper Ship make informed suggestions with their tea samples! They are not just providing sachets of teas they’re hoping to promote; they consider what you ordered and provide you with samples that match your tastes! I’d ordered a toasted sesame tea and received dessert tea samples. The other order that arrived was for wellness tisanes, and so they included similar white and herbal samples. I was so impressed to see that they really pay attention to each order. A+, Clipper Ship! From one small business owner to another, keep up the good work!

I truly love this store. It's clean, beautiful, organized, and efficient. And wow--they really know tea! They are never pushy, but if I ask, they will always spend as much time as I need describing teas, answering my questions and making recommendations. Their teas are fresh and their blends are so unique and always so delicious. I really love following their Instagram account as they have beautiful photos and descriptions of their teas--I've discovered many new tasty and healthful blends this way. Huntington is lucky to have this shop!

The employees were very informative and created a welcoming atmosphere. I'm extremely happy with my purchases. One employee even gently nudged my boyfriend (who is very picky) to try something new with a lot of encouragement and discussion of what he likes! I bought two boxes for samplers and will likely come back. They have tea for everyone! It is a bit pricey, but I am willing to pay a bit more since it's local!

This wonderful store has been on my "treat myself to happiness" list for several years now. I unfortunately cannot drink caffeine which is not even an issue at this tea shoppe because they have an abundance of herbal teas I can choose from all year round! Loose and bagged tea... I can fill up a thermos with hot tea in the winter and pitchers of fresh iced tea in the summer. And I always grab their wonderfully themed gift boxes for quick gifts. Definitely a must to pop-in when you are in the area. The knowledgable staff will graciously guide you through their inventory and help you find the best teas for you and your needs. Their online store looks crazy good too... just incase you are not in the area. Get little boxes of happiness shipped right to you!

Extremely disappointed with the individuals who work at this establishment. I came in with my family prepared to try their tea and purchase some of the tea cups that that had. I was prepared to spend at least $100 as I am not from the area and am visiting family. I really love tea because I am one of the few adults that doesn’t drink coffee. Simply put, tea is my thing. I came in and greeted the team members to a very cold response. They were not rude but we’re extremely dismissive. April 1st 2023 at 11:20AM. My wife hinted at me to go because it seemed that they didn’t want us there. As we were walking out they pitifully and non genuinely asked us if we had any questions. Remember, customers help the customer establishment as much as the establishment help the customer. Shoppers Beware. Still. Wishing them the best as I know a tea company is hard to maintain and grow.
