Recently hosted my son’s intimate christening at the restaurant. I cannot say enough about how kind and easy to deal with the owner was despite having to make changes. The food was absolutely delicious and everybody had a wonderful time. I Highly recommend this Restaurant!

I hosted a bridal shower this past weekend at Eatalia. Al and his staff were amazing to work with and the food was delicious! I would definitely use them again!

We only go here when every other place in the village is booked. This place is always empty. They are often out of many beers, including Peroni, and Italian beer! The food seems pre-cooked and the portions are small, in relation to the price and the current economic climate. We gave them a few tries and sadly we will not be returning . The restaurant does have a nice atmosphere, but something is clearly lacking. Perhaps the name of the place. It's odd.

With a Small party in the next room and maybe four tables in the second room and no one else dining in our room. ( we were 7 ) I feel we were a bit ignored .The fried calamari was overly oily. As were the crab cakes. My table said the bread was salty. None of us said the food was terrific. It was just ok. My sole frances was exceptionally thin and the francese sauce was blah. Two people at my table had pasta and our server never offered them grated cheese It was a holiday dinner for us and no one wished us happy holidays. And I’m sure it was the manager that was in our room with us Behind the bar and he ignored us. I am very disappointed.

My family and over 20 friends surprised me with a birthday party last night. The food, servers and bartenders were fabulous. They hit a home run in every category. The food was delicious, served hot and on time. And the proper portions. I dislike when you have a big event and there's a lot of uneaten food because they made you order too much. No one was without a drink all night. Every glass was full. The staff seemed like they were having fun and were very attentive. They have the perfect room for parties. Could have fit an even larger party than ours without being too cramped. Can't say enough about Eatalia!!

We had a baby shower for my daughter at Eatalia. Al and Jean and the whole crew could not have been more kind, helpful and wonderful. They were a pleasure to deal with, the food was amazing and they looked after every detail. the space was cozy, inviting and intimate. I would recommend this restaurant 100 percent. W will always remember this event and the wonderful people at Eatalia. Thank you for everything.

We recently hosted our sister’s 60th birthday party here and from the moment we booked the party with Greg, to the moment we paid the bill with Al, it was a phenomenal experience! The food was delicious, the room was cozy and elegant and the service was impeccable. Overall an excellent experience and highly recommended!

The service was excellent! The restaurant has a homey atmosphere in a great location.

The food was just alright. The stuffed mushrooms were great, but the pasta and sauce were bland. The pizza was very salty. Wasn't bad, but didn't feel like it was worth the price.

Kid-friendliness: They were very friendly with our kids and had kid friendly plastic cups.

Was at Eatalia for a retirement party 06/05/24. All servers and bartender wore faces as if they were doing you a favor, not one smile. The food was buffet style and it was mediocre in taste and presentation. The bar was a cash bar. Mixed drinks such as a Jack Daniels & ginger ale was $24, a tequilla & selzer was $23, plain ginger ale was $4 each (no refills). Total of $51 for those three beverages. I returned to the bar to inquire if I was over charaged and the bartender confirmed the prices I had paid were correct. Outrageous prices!!! I do not recommend this restaurant.

Hi Richard, I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience at Eatalia. It sounds like you were charged the wrong prices for your drinks-I agree $23 for a mixed drink is absurd and that is not what we charge. Please reach out so that we can rectify this mistake.

UPDATE Posted June 25, 2024:
Within one hour of my poor rating (June 6th), Britany S. whom I later learned is the owner's daughter, posted back saying the prices were absurd and asked me to reach out to rectify this mistake. I called the following Tuesday and was told Al, the owner, would call me Wednesday. Thursday I had not heard anything, so I called again. Brittany eventually got on the phone and said I was mistakenly overcharged and she would refund me the overcharge which would take 3 - 5 days to appear on my credit card. Brittany said the price of a mixed drinks is $18. I was charged $24 for one and $23.75 for the other. Note, I was not in Manhattan or a Long Island waterfront eatery. Today is 13 days later and still no refund. I had to contact my credit card company to request a refund through a dispute. Also, I was not mistakenly overcharge. The night of the retirement party when I was given my receipt, I questioned the amount charged with the bartender and he looked at a price list posted on a wall and confirmed the prices I had paid were correct. I had told Brittany that someone is purposely overcharging and pocketing some of the money which she denied. I heard from a friend there was another teachers retirement party held there the following week and that some gossip was going on about the high prices of the drinks. I was not the only person complaining. Again...STAY AWAY FROM EATALIA RESTAURANT, 34 New St, Huntington NY. HUGE RIPOFF!!!
