This was and still is my favorite restaurant. I used to live in Huntington and used to frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. The staff and management are already welcoming and courteous, the food is always cooked to perfection.

I went here for a family member’s birthday. Overall an OK experience. Rating my food 4/5 because the Tagliolini alla Boscaiola was incredibly oily and way too salty. The description on the menu suggested this would be a fresh and light dish with the wording “a touch of cream”. It was SO heavy that I had a stomach ache when I arrived home. Other dishes at my table did not have this problem. We were also served bread that was not fresh. It wasn’t stale, but it was definitely sitting out for some time. The olive oil served with the bread was also just OK. If they are trying to recreate an Italian dining experience, they may want to reevaluate their offerings and quality. Service was OK; my waiter was not very patient and we all felt rushed. Decor is quite nice and overall a nice ambience. Very good wine - I ordered Cabernet Sauvignon. I likely won’t be back as there are tons of options in the area without the problems I mentioned. Sorry, but an Italian restaurant on Long Island needs to be near perfect and this was not.

I visited Restaurant Joanina for my anniversary and it was perfect from start to finish — the warm, intimate atmosphere set the tone, and the pasta veal was absolutely outstanding, tender and full of flavor. Their cheese and meat selection is a personal favorite, beautifully presented and brimming with variety, making it a true highlight of the night. A memorable experience I can’t wait to repeat.

A great place for classical Italian food. You can tell that the people who make the food put there heart and soul into it. I have never had a bad meal there. The Lasagna and fried calamari is amazing. And the desserts are out of this world.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner before going to see a show. The food was very good and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend eating here and we will be returning.

Absolutely loved my dinner at Joanina’s! The fresh pasta was incredible—I had the Tortellini Rosa and the sauce was rich, creamy, and so flavorful. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and everything tasted homemade. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was okay, but the experience was underwhelming. We got water quickly, but it took a long time for anyone to take our order, and the service stayed slow and inattentive throughout. The Chicken Scarpariello had nice flavor but was a bit dry. Overall, not terrible, but not somewhere I’d rush back to

We had a great time there with cousins on a Friday night. The food was really good, and the staff could not have been more gracious. And I had really enjoyable glass of their house Montepulciano.

We went to Restaurant Joanina for the first time and we had a wonderful experience!! The atmosphere is charming and the staff were all very friendly. I love that their menu has some special options that you won’t find at most Italian restaurants. The fusilli calabrese was one of the best pasta dishes I have EVER had and was such a unique menu item. We enjoyed all of the food including appetizers and desserts. We will definitely be back!
