I have been going here for years and have always loved the food the freshness is second to none I can build my own large with white rice base marinated tuna and seaweed and corn every time I go and every time it's just as good as the last.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I was never even a fan of poke before I tried Kai! I didn't even know too much about poke. But once I tried this place..... it's like the gates of all foodie heaven opened for me. Kai Poke is IMMACULATE!!! I've had it repeatedly many times over the last several months and there was never a single time it disappointed. It was perfect every time!Also, the absolute legend that works there, Jake, he made me my first ever poke bowl, and perfect it was. He was so patient, detailed in explaining all the best ingredients to use, detailed in the presentation of the bowl and just a master at putting the perfect poke bowl together, very down to earth guy as well. I always enjoy it when I get to order my poke bowl from Jake. I can't wait to be back!

The veggies are not fresh specifically the cilantro and the edamame. I have never ordered edamame in a poke bowl and have it look so dark green instead of a bright green. This leads me to question if the salmon is even fresh? It’s a small portion for $13, $20 for a large bowl is overpriced. Parking is hard to find as well, very busy street here.

Jake is the best, I literally eat here about 3-5 times a week. Never do they fail! Always fresh fresh fresh, and if something isn’t fresh I seen Jake himself throw out food even if it was just a few hours old. I love coming here, it’s always quick and very very tasty! I personally get the spicy salmon and spicy tuna with the eel sauce and spicy mayo sauce, unbeatable ! Jakey thank you man, highly recommend.

The owner here is always friendly and the food is fresh and easy - exactly what I want in a poke bowl spot. Get the large bowl and save a bit for your next meal. I also recommend getting one scoop of protein with the marinade and the second scoop spicy; it gives a nice balanced flavor to the bowl.

best poke on the island and its not even close tons and tons of selection of sauces with getting as many toppings as you like. the tuna with the house sauce and spicy salmon is an elite combo (highly recommend) and not only amazing food but very professional young staff and great owner. must hit lunch spot at least 2 times a week!
