La Parma is the best Italian Restaurant on Long Island. Been going for over 25 years and it has never disappointed. We love it!

La Parma ll is the absolute best!! Nothing comes close. Easily turns Carmines into Olive Garden!

20 years in the neighborhood and it never occurred to us to try La Parma. Friends visiting from down south wanted great Italian food, la Parma could accommodate a party of six at exactly the time we needed, and our friends liked the menu. Apart from crowding and a lack of space and flow entering the restaurant and getting to the dining area, the table was large and comfortable, the service gracious and helpful. And the food was first rate southern style Italian cooking, with many things I've been taught were important in Sicilian cuisine. It's the next day, I can remember that the garlic didn't just taste like any old supermarket garlic, and I can't wait to get to the leftovers. The simple things were just right, and that's always a good sign. The basic marinara, one of my favorite things about life, was as good as I've ever had it. Linguine marechiaro is something I would go back there specifically to have, but we all sampled each other's dishes, and each one of them was perfect and lovingly prepared, large portions with no compromise on quality ingredients or preparation. our friends' dietary needs were accommodated unquestioningly and with no compromise in the artfulness of preparation. Classic comfort food dishes comfort like eggplant rollatini and chicken parmigiana Service was attentive and quick but unobtrusive. We have decided that this is the restaurant where we take the friends who come to visit. And I'm sure we'll be going there as a couple just because it was a really nice way to have a perfect dinner right in the neighborhood. As with all restaurants in the last few years, the prices would be surprising to someone who hasn't eaten out since 2015. But they're not too inflated, certainly not as badly as most eateries, and the portions and quality definitely justify paying a little extra for a special experience. This kind of quality in a comfortable old-fashioned neighborhood restaurant is just a winner all around. Old-fashioned is good.

Ive dined at all the La Parma’s over the past 20+ years and felt they were all excellent. My recent dinner at La Parma II was really awesome. Our table of 4 was treated like food stars throughout the night. We ordered some of my favorites being Cesar Salad, Clams, Chicken Scarparella with peppers, Fresh Pasta with Olive Oil & garlic and a Beautiful Bottle to a rare Northern Italian Barolo that was extraordinary. Our waiter, supporting staff and general manager were extremely tentative to all detail. Being back on LI this will definitely be our go to Italian restaurant again without question.

My only improvement recommendation might be having bigger tables for the most common 4 seat groups. Being family style, you need more space for food on large serving plates and other plate wear.

It literally took over and hour to get our food and the place was completely empty. No apologies,. Was just told the chicken scarp takes a long time. Should have offered a complimentary dessert or something. Also someone asked us if you need anything wrapped up to go when we were only half way through dinner. I guess it was close to closing time. Do better!

Food was good but the restaurant temperature was freezing. Air conditioner was way too high. Everyone at my table was freezing and I'm not usually cold.

My husband and I grew up in Centerport. We have been lucky enough to eat here since the early 1980s. Left in 1980 but would try to get to the restaurant every time we came back to visit. Now we haven’t been for many years and are planning a trip back to enjoy the food and entertainment in NY. The linguine with white clam sauce is the best thing ever. In over 40 years it has been impossible for anywhere to replicate your dish. We love your food can’t wait to taste it again ❤️❤️
