Best Italian restaurant in New York. They hit on the classic dishes with perfect precision. La Parma also has some creative unique dishes that never disappoint. The staff is super welcoming and it feels like dining with family. The overall experience will absolutely leave you full and happy that you decided to visit this Long Island treasure.

Our entire meal was fabulous. Two couples shared the house salad, baked clams, linguine with white clam sauce, chicken campagnola/Scarpariello combo, and escarole with beans. Tartufos for dessert. Aurelio was our always friendly server and Vincent came over to say hello. Never a disappointment

My wife and I went for Valentine's Day dinner and were unimpressed with the food, drinks and ambience. But the worst was the service; our waiter was cold, distant, rude and unprofessional. He spilled some sauce on my wife and didn't even apologize; he merely handed her a napkin. We will never go back.

This was our 3rd or 4th time eating here & it won't be our last. The servers were fantastic. Their timing & presentation was top rate. The food is also fantastic. Plenty of food & cooked to perfection. Thank You LaParma

The penne alla vodka was excellent. The chicken parm was a bit disappointing as it was a little bland. The service was okay, and when the server asked if we would like our chicken pieces cut we said yes, she proceeded to cut one piece in half and we asked if she could please cut the other piece in half. She answered with “well whats the difference….” Big la parma II fans as we have been coming for 20 years, but this time was a bit disappointing.

I ate here as part of a large group (20+), my motorcycle club, on Jan21. I had been sceptical about a served dinner since the group usually dines buffet style. No worries here: everything went really well. The pasta dish was served as authentic al dente, one of the few times I have had that. The pre-dinner appetizers (crab cakes and clams casino) were very good, as was the scarpiello - which again had me sceptical and again, was very good and in real Italian old-school style. I came away from La Parma impressed. By the way - our group ran a bit over in time, and the staff did not try to shoo us out the door. Kudos to the restaurant and staff. By the way: we had a number of diners who had restrictions on what they could eat: La Parma not only accomodated them but checked and double-checked that they had done so.

I haven't been to La Parma ll since May 2023. At that time the food was good. My husband and I usually dine at La Parma in Williston Park. We decided to go to Huntington because it is closer to home, and we were dining with friends and thought it would be more convenient. We won't be back to the Huntington restaurant. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The mussels marinade were served by the waiter in the wrong dishes. He left the sauce in the plater and failed to leave a spoon to for us to serve ourselves so the delicious mussels I told my friends about were dry and bland. I bragged about the La Parma salad and that was worse than the mussels. There was very little lettuce and mostly red peppers soaked in balsamic vinegar. It was terrible. The biggest disappointment of all was the rigatoni marinade. I wish I would have taken a picture, but at that point I was livid, and didn't want to make our friends feel awkward, so I tried to play down the fact that the sauce was plopped over the pasta and resembled tomato paste clunked in a few spots. To be fair, the shrimp la parma was very good, as was the dessert. Never again!

Totally love this place! It remains the absolute best in fine Italian dining! The service is remarkable! The staff is always accommodating, friendly and on their A game. It's like a home away from home dining experience! You will not be disappointed! Lights out superb.

I wanted veal francese, they had chicken francese listed on the menu, the waiter, Aurelio, said "no can do!" Are you kidding me? Next time I guess I should order chicken francese, tell them to hold the chicken, order veal plain, and combine the francese sauce from the held chicken with the plain veal. What a bunch of unaccommodating losers. Won't be returning!

I have been coming to La Parma since I was young and nothing ever falls short. This restaurant has always brought the best food and service to Long Island. Safe to say they are a LI gem and a must try restaurant.

We have been dining here for many years and the consistent quality keeps us coming back. The best linguine with white clam sauce is a staple. We had the stuffed artichoke to start and it didn't disappoint.
