Horrible service stay away! We would never go back, they never even served us our dinner after 2.5 hours waiting
They must have been short staffed. Our waiter was completely frazzled. Forgot one of our appetizers after waiting 30 minutes. It arrived cold. Couple seated next to us were vaping at the table Finally after waiting another 30minutes for main course we left. Off night for this restaurant but not sure we are willing to return so soon.
This place was completely understaffed. The food was flavorless, the lasagna was hard & flavorless. The calamari was chewy. When asked how everything Was the manager was so rude that I said the food was not good at all. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Superb service. They stayed open so we could pick up our food after the show. Definitely will return!
Had dinner here. Disappointing. We waited a very long time for our food to be served . Very Understaffed. Waitress was nice. No clean fork's so my husband ate his calamari with a spoon. Asked twice for a fork. Potato’s came out 15 minutes after the main course and were burnt at bottom. Main course was ok but a bit salty. My husband ordered shrimp dish but no shrimp in it. She brought out shrimp separately as she said she didn’t hear him say shrimp .

Service was definitely struggling. Took an hour to get anything but water to drink. Don't show availability on OpenTable if you can't serve the guests, fyi. Food was fine but a table of 3 just ordering entrees shouldn't take 3 hours to experience a meal. Tighten up or shut it down.
I was there for a special event. I was disappointed in the fact that a reservation was made for a large group and they did not have enough staff for the event and the entire restaurant. They basically had two people running around. My whole table had something to say about the food they were served. Everyone said all the food was bland and had no flavor. The spicy dishes weren't spicy. The portion sizes were ridiculously small. The bread theybserved was hard and there was no oil dipping. Needless to say, it was a little embarrasing. The dessert seemed better than the meals. With so many other great italian restaurants out there, Lasagna fell short of my expectations.
Dietary restrictions: Being gluten free they had main course options but not much appetizer and no gf bread.

Saturday night during the holiday season is crazy in downtown Huntington. Festive for sure but I think it leaves the restaurants short staffed. We waited an hour for our meals. Had a 7 pm reservation and left the restaurant at 945. Far too long for a casual meal. We've eaten here many times before when it wasn't holiday time without this issue. I'll go back because the food is good and you can actually talk.
Lasagna is a lovely neighborhood Italian with wonderful food and friendly service. I can't recommend it enough. It's a real gem.
Hardworking employees with. A respectful approach.

Foodie here, and a huge supporter of the neighborhood restaurants, so just wanting to be clear that a good experience was the goal. Unfortunately Lasagna fell short in many areas. Service was just overall not good. One guy who was running the bar (no one there) and the tables…acted like they were packed but they weren’t and no one got any attention from him or the only other person who was tending to tables, Clueless. Some tables got bread, some didn’t. We had to ask. Waiter / bartender guy didn’t know how to do a simple meatball side order and argued. I asked for no dressing and got a saturated salad…didn’t even have the opportunity to mention because we weren’t checked on. No one came to see if we needed anything throughout the meal - not once. Had to ask for more wine and they ran out of what I was drinking. Dropped the check and didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. All forgivable except the food just wasn’t great. Better choices in Huntington.

We have 8 points of disappointment to make people aware of: 1) We walked into the restaurant around 6 pm on Sat. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant in the back when we were the only customers there. 2) A few minutes later, another couple walked in, they were seated right next to us even though the entire restaurant was completely empty. And they were the only other people other than us that were there for the next 40 mins which made it very uncomfortable. 3) A dirty plate with crumbs in it was sitting right in front of my bf and we had no food served yet. 4) 1 ordered a beer on tap and it had a funny taste. 5) My bf ordered "fettuccine Alfredo with garlic shrimp" which basically was noodles with shrimp. It was the most blend Alfredo sauce my bf has ever had. Basically no sauce. 6) For an Italian restaurant, we found it unusual to hear Spanish music played the entire time (we love Spanish music but thought it was odd to have it at an Italian restaurant. It did not really fit). 7) My bf ordered the famous tiramisu they won an award for but the sponge part was chewy and it was warm. 8) My bf decided to do them a favor by walking to the front of the restaurant to give the payment for the check which was cash but the waitress was busy entering the order into a machine, so the manager walked over and said "can I help you?" and my bf said "I am just dropping off the bill" and the manager just took it, turned his back on my bf and did not say a word, like thank you, have a good night, nothing...we have no intention of ever going back to this restaurant again!

Finally, a place that can make a great Lasagna! It's much harder than you would think. I have been all over looking (even in Italy), this place is the winner. I had the meat and my wife had the Eggplant lasagna. Both excellent! Was not expecting so many Lasagna options. We have to go back just to try the others. The Calamari was also excellent, light and crispy as well as their Garlic bread. See you soon!
Vegetarian options: All vegetable Lasagna
Parking: The town in general is hard to park in
Kid-friendliness: super friendly, more than happy to talk to you.
