A Pleasant Surprise at MB Ramen – Worth Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone!
I’ll admit it—I’m not usually an adventurous eater. But my 5yr old god daughter was craving noodles so MB Ramen it was. So glad we decided to take the plunge.
The atmosphere is chill and cool. The anime on the walls and video game in the corner make this a place you want to visit. Staff was incredibly kind and patient, happily answering my questions and even giving me recommendations based on my tastes. I’ll admit it took me some time to decide but when I did I wasn’t disappointed. We started with the icky sticky wings and the crispy chicken Bao buns. Both were fantastic. Main course the broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings balanced everything beautifully. Each bite was comforting, bold, and somehow familiar yet completely new.
I never thought I’d find myself craving ramen, but here I am, already planning my next visit. If you’re hesitant to step outside your food comfort zone, let MB Ramen be the place that changes your mind. You won’t regret it

Our waiter was extremely rude. He was being belligerent with my partner and kept gossiping with the waitress about us. He made me feel super uncomfortable. I will NEVER be coming back to this establishment.

I knocked off a star because I've ordered white rice here multiple times and every time it had myself been dry and nearly burnt. This alone means I'll probably do takeout from now on and have rice at home.
It's so easy to do white rice properly. And it really takes away from an otherwise excellent meal.
Wings and rice or chili and rice would make a really great simple combo, but ruined by bad rice.

If you ever have the absolute fortune to be able to get the pumpkin ramen special on the occasion that they do it, don’t miss it. I first had it a few years back, and when I saw the special online had to get it. Pumpkin ssoup, noodles, brussel sprouts, bacon, nori. A true treat. My fiancé and I also got the Mae ploy chicken appetizer. There was enough leftover to take home. Service was fast and attentive. I love coming here, the ramen on the menu is always delicious. And if that hasn’t sold you on MBramen, the overall vibe of the restaurant will.

Cozy place, delicious ramen and rice bowls among other things. Lots of creative options for vegetarians. And portions are more than ample. Most of our group took home enough leftovers for lunch the next day... Compact but good beer selection and wines too. Very friendly team working there. I've ordered takeout there before but this was first time dining in. It's a keeper for sure.

I came here with my friends, on a regular Tuesday evening. The food is great, excelent I will be back.
So I just found out today that tip has been factored into my bill the whole time I’ve been coming here. I always come in groups more then 5 being that I have 4 kids and my niece. Today I went to pay a cash tip and was trying to figure out 18 percent of my current bill. My partner asked me why I was leaving a tip when it was already factored into my bill. I was flabbergasted. The server never mentioned anything about tip being factored in, and said it was on the menu ?. Like anyone is looking for anything but food items. I tip base on service. As if 18% isn’t good enough they took out 20%. How many times have I tipped when it was already factored on the bill ???!!!

My mom and I decided to dine here for lunch on a whim, and we're NOT disappointed. We were greeted by Eric (forgive me if I have the name wrong) upon arrival. It's a small, quaint place but with vibrant graffiti art displayed throughout. We ordered the gochuchang wings (incredibly delicious; I was tempted to place another order but refrained), and 2 bowls of noodles, one with crisp chicken and the other with shrimp. I was impressed by the portions given. Both dishes were plated beautifully and packed with massive flavor! Mom's dish packed much heat, which left her with a runny nose but a satisfied belly. My chopstick game has greatly improved. LOL Also, the bathroom was very clean and tidy. It was adorned with wall art highlighting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles eating noodles, not their famous pizza. Nostalgia for the win! It's hours later, and I'm still full. I'm happy this place is near my residence. I will be visiting again! Also also....I've gotta try their chicken bao buns next time.....
Vegetarian options: You can customize whatever dish offered to what pleases your palate.
Parking: There's free parking behind the Bank of America. Might be challenging to secure on a busy night or weekend. Also, you can park alongside the street if you're lucky to snatch a spot.

This is now in the top 3 best ramens I've had. The Tokyo style was exquisite. VERY good. In a location with many other restaurants and bars, definitely a stop in a night out. Must come back and try other noodles. My partner had the Taiwan noodle. It was good, not great, but she did swap out the pork for tofu... So, not fair to knock it ...
