The room in the back of the restaurant was perfect for our meeting! Everyone was very attentive to detail! We loved being at Meehan’s! T

This wasn’t a dinner — it was a dining nightmare straight out of a horror story. The service crawled at a torturous pace, forcing us to beg three separate times for drinks that didn’t even arrive until after our appetizers and main course were carelessly dropped on the table together. And when they finally showed up, they were made completely wrong. The clams were so vile they made me sick — literally — and the lobster roll was a cold, greasy abomination that turned my stomach. Every bite felt like a warning I shouldn’t have ignored.

And the worst part? They had the nerve to charge us $150 for this disaster — for bad service, bad food, and on a night when the restaurant wasn’t even busy. If you value your time, your money, or your health… stay far, far away.

We contracted with Meehans for a Luncheon after my mother’s funeral. The food was amazing. The service and kindness that Patrick and every staff member provided were more than I ever anticipated. Patrick listened to our requests and concerns and accommodated us- even as the size of the gathering grew to 86! I most highly recommend them for a meal, drink or any event.

Service was excellent. The waitress was excellent, manager who checked in on the table was very nice as was the waiter who brought out the food and also cleared the table.

The food itself was another story. Pretzel appetizer which was $11 I believe and consisted of two tiny pretzels. It was actually comical how small it was. Putting them together they wouldn’t even equal 1/2 to 3/4 the size of a pretzel you get at a ballpark or street vendor. Ordered fish & chips and a steak fajita. Fish was absolutely overcooked. The skin was visibly overcooked and beyond crispy and had no taste. The French fries were basically a baked potato cut length wise into 4 long thick spears. They had zero taste other than the side that still had the potato skin on it tasting like a burnt baked potato straight out of the oven.

The steak fajita came only with salsa which tasted exactly like jarred salsa from the supermarket, guacamole and sour cream on the side. Steak plate was served with peppers and onions. No lettuce, No cheese, No rice and beans came with it. It didn’t seem like an oversight but definitely strange because everywhere else you order a fajita you get additional stuff. Steak flavor was off and I’m not sure what they were going for. All you could taste was ginger and you could smell it also from across the table.

I haven’t been to Meehans in probably over a year, but the numerous previous visits the food was very good. We were the only ones eating dinner in the restaurant since it was 5:30pm so I can’t even make the excuse that maybe the kitchen was swamped.

Great location across the street from The Paramount in Huntington for a great Pre-concert meal and beverages.

Came here for quick refill after long drive, we ordered breakfast and pizza. Eggs were overcooked, home fries were too spicy, pizza looked like from Aldi, it was a sence that food came from microwave. I live in a small town, and we have way better food there. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

The cocky frat boy bartender (Declan?) Was rude and inattentive the whole night. I’ve been bartending my whole life and it’s sad to see establishments not prioritize their female bartenders. Disappointing.

Even though they were very busy. They managed to bring the food out hot with a smile on their faces.

My wife and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at Meehan’s of Huntington. We opted to sit in their charming courtyard, a cozy alleyway nestled between buildings. The ambiance was truly special, with artistic drawings adorning the walls and a serene water fountain adding to the tranquil atmosphere. For our meal, my wife chose the Chipotle Burger, which she found to be flavorful. I went for the Old School Burger with Swiss cheese, and it did not disappoint. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and the Swiss cheese added a nice touch. Overall, our experience at Meehan’s was wonderful. The combination of delicious food and the unique, picturesque courtyard made for a memorable lunch outing. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a lovely setting. We came during the day for lunch, but the courtyard has lights hanging above that I’m sure look beautiful at night.

Parking: The street parking is paid and there are many paid parking lots around the town of Huntington.
