Have ordered many times in the past and was always happy with the food. However, recently ordered a delivery from doordash and was extremely disappointed. All of the food did not feel fresh. The smoked beef tacos were chewy and felt old. The limes had a coating from being sliced days ago instead of that day. I’m not sure if the quality goes down for their delivery orders or if it’s just a new thing in general. But overall probably would not order from them again sadly.

It is unfortunate we did not get to even try a meal. The service provided by the bartender (Caucasian female, piercing, glasses) was unprofessional, rude. First I attempted to ask how they keep track of their seating and she responded "it's first come first serve...." Second we sat at the bar and she said she could not serve anyone under 21 and I said ok sorry and her response was "So Long." Being in a human service field including 10+ years in restaurant never I have been made to feel discomfort, and not welcomed we left after the "so long". I see this is not a first review in response to this person and they all fit the description.11/26/2023To clarify the person that was underage with us was 18 years old not 10 years old. More then happy to have a conversation over the phone about this to clarify certain information provided to the owner.

Always delicious and never disappoints! Especially the street corn! We usually take out, so I don't know much about the servers, but the bartenders were friendly and personable while waiting

Very pleased that this spot offers a variety of vegan options. We got the vegan crunch wrap and vegan Latin burrito. Both were a good size portion and served with warm tortilla chips. Good amount of indoor seating and located near lots of parking. Nice ambiance for date night or family dinner.The flavors were good for both items, but both were missing a cream sauce or guacamole texture that would have balanced out the salty flavor nicely. Also, the hot sauce packets they give you for to-go orders are really more of a Chinese hot sauce compared to Cholula hot sauce they serve for dine in. They should really invest in the Cholula hot sauce packets because it really changes the flavor.

Wow! Just what we needed on a cool autumn day when we were looking for a quiet place to avoid cooking in our own kitchen! The staff & food (tacos & soup) were awesome but it was all about the cute animal videos running on the screen facing our table that made us feel so cozy! Love it! Sweet staff & so many food options but the snuggly warm chicken tortilla soup was definitely what hit the spot! They did a crazy amount of grub hub/takeout while we were there so we essentially had the place to ourselves-sweet peace after a hectic day! We'll definitely be back!

I'll be damned if I didn't say the lobster burrito wasn't one of the most glorious food creations to ever grace my tastebuds! I would be honored to shake the culinary genius that brought such a joyous meal into this world!

I've been to new wave several times as it's my boyfriends favorite. There are tons of options on the menu. Including vegetarian options. I got the vegan chicken one in a bowl and it was delicious. The spicy habenero sauce was one of the best hot sauces I've had in the area. The service is quick and the food comes out fast. The margaritas are delicious.

My wife and I are vegan and we have lunch at New Wave every weekend, sometimes we even go on Saturday and Sunday, a few times we even got food to go to have for dinner! The food is that amazing, we get the vegan Latino and the impossible burrito with a side of fries. (Even the fries are out of this world). Everyone at New Wave are super chill and warm, always feel welcomed and respected. We are now regulars here since we come so often, and I can honestly say this is the best place to get burritos in king island, especially if you’re vegan. We will never stop coming here! They have our business for life haha.
