I think their should be an option to change from processed lamb to real higher quality lamb

I went to this place 3 times or so. Its the worst halal food I've ever had honestly + the place is Hella dirty. Shahs is way better

I recently visited this takeout restaurant and unfortunately had a very concerning experience regarding both cleanliness and customer service.

While waiting for my order, I observed one of the employees handling frozen meat in an extremely unsanitary manner. She repeatedly slammed a frozen bag of meat onto the dirty floor, which appeared to be her method of separating or defrosting the meat. After doing this several times, she picked the meat up directly from the bag with her bare hands and placed it on the grill without wearing any gloves.

Another female employee working at the front counter was also behaving in an unsanitary way. She continuously wiped the corners of her mouth with her shirt while working the register and handling cash. Immediately afterward, she went to assist the other employee with the food preparation, again without washing her hands or wearing gloves. Both employees were handling food without gloves throughout the time we were there.

In addition to the hygiene concerns, the customer service was extremely poor. When we entered, we were not greeted or acknowledged at all. There were no other customers present, yet the staff seemed visibly annoyed by our presence. The employees spoke in another language the entire time we were inside and did not make any effort to communicate with us or provide basic customer service. When we left, there was still no acknowledgment or farewell.

Due to the seriousness of what I witnessed, I contacted the restaurant to speak with the manager. When I explained that I had concerns about what I observed, he told me he was very busy and that I should call back later. He did not appear concerned about the situation or interested in addressing the issues taking place in the facility.

The conditions I witnessed were extremely unsanitary and unacceptable for a food establishment. Proper food handling, hygiene practices, and respectful customer service should be basic standards in any restaurant. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses these issues immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of future customers.

They hands down have the best chicken and lamb over rice combo on Long Island (no salad).. something about getting it well done/cooked crispy just hits better than sha’s or halal guys..

Plates and salad taste real Fresh ! Best Halal place that isn’t Franchise owned. Green cilantro sauce is the secret sauce, don’t forget to ask for it tho 🙏

This place has been a favorite of mine for years, but lately it’s been a disappointment. Not sure if it’s because of the new owners, but they have increased the prices and charge for every little thing. The old owners never used to do stuff like. Charging for a small hot sauce on the side is ridiculous and can drive away loyal customers like myself. The owner rings you up and charges you first and then does the sauces and gives very little. It’s just not good practice, stop being stingy, now I would much rather go to Shah’s.

Absolutely no taste in Gyro item,
I eat so many places of this item. but here is totally garbage. Plus much higher prices here. Not recommended to anyone to eat here. Just wasting money.

This is a great place to get Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. Their gyro meat is excellent! I definitely recommend that you try the food here.
