The food was so delicious! Highly recommend trying the side wings and the corn bread. Our server was very kind and attentive. You order up front, grab a number and find a seat and they bring the food out to you. Serving sizes are pretty big and prices are very fair. The drinks were excellent as well. We will definitely be returning!

I got the ribs, cornbread, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes and potatoes. This is my favorite restaurant in Huntington. The ribs have flavor allllll the way through and perfect tenderness. The cornbread is a little on the moister side, like I prefer. No butter needed. The sweet potatoes are a little extra sweet with a pecan crumble that gives it a crunch. Mac and cheese was like classic quality mac and cheese. Potatoes were my least favorite, still good but nothing in particular stood out about them. Overall amazing.

I plan trips around Bbq joints, and I can unequivocally say that Old Fields is the very best I’ve ever had on Long Island!! Perfectly smoked pork ribs I could only get in Texas, TN, or parts of GA/SC. The coleslaw was delicious, too!! I may go back today for the brisket! OUTRAGEOUSLY perfect!!!

First of all, I do love the place, and you must get corn bread every time you go. I love the brisket. The method of ordering at the counter and seating after is not "date-night" friendly, but it keeps the process of looking at the BBQ you're going to eat first, to avoid questions later, more efficient.
Huntington is a difficult place to go. Parking is lousy. Garbage all over the streets. Too crowded. All that is not this restaurant's fault. What is the restaurant's fault is a very long order line. Very noisy inside. Pricey, limited menu. I ate nothing because the menu is not appealing. I do not like wings. Spare ribs are messy. Unable to get into the bathroom as it's always busy. My family said the food is bland as they have many bbq sauce flavors to flavor to your own taste. I guess they have little faith in their chefs. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The bench seats are not comfortable. We got a bench at the front door on a cold night. Sat with a coat on the entire time. I saw many people walk in and walk right out. They saw the menu and ran off. I do not recommend it and I will never return.
