Very glad this is no more. I got the chicken & biscuit. The fried chicken was over-brined and massively overspiced, as in Kentucky Fried; the fried green tomatoes were bland and the dredge WAY too heavy; and the whole thing was a bit too "Hey, Guy Fieri, feature US on Triple D!" Southern food is about simplicity. Fried green tomatoes are about minimal flour dredge, slow frying to bring out the tanginess of the tomato, and a crispy, complementary crust. Cornmeal is not welcome here. These tomatoes were too quick-fried, thus bland; cornmeal-dredged, thus overwhelmed. Not good. And yeah, Kentucky Fried Chicken. I said it. The biscuit from Kerber's was a win but hey, it's Kerber's. The pimiento mac n cheese was good, but when ordering a combo-style meal, one expects better than a partial win. Call me an old fart, but there's one other thing, and all Huntington restaurants can take note: some of us like to TALK TO OUR DINING PARTNERS in restaurants. We don't like to be knocked out on the sidewalk, let alone deafened indoors, with the overwhelming volume of music and all who must yell over it. I like to retain the power of speech after a meal; call me crazy. We'll see about the Mexican food that has replaced Radio Radio. Personally, y'all are going to have to push the boat out to beat Oaxaca.

The BBQ food is delicious. Close quarters with the space on a busy night, but it's still done well. Very happy with the 3 times we've been there now

Cute and casual place with mediocre BBQ. Made a reservation, but probably shouldn't have bothered- there were no tables when we got there despite the reservation and we still waited over half an hour to sit, which was frustrating. The cucumber margarita was delicious, but pricey for such a casual place. The brisket and smoked chicken were excellent, but the pulled pork was just extremely salty. Grits were standard, mac and cheese was okay, and the side of cornbread was very dry. Also- for such a salty meal, a normal-sized glass of ice water would have been much appreciated! The water glasses are basically shot glasses, and the small carafe of water they bring over is room temperature, no ice, and fills only about 4 of the small glasses before its gone. Overall it was a good meal but there is definitely much better BBQ out there, and we did not appreciate the wait despite the reservation.

Delicious! Big size plate, love the all the recycled napkins and even the glasses were made from recycled glass. I love an environmentally conscious establishment. They had really yummy house made bbq chips. The sauces were great i especially loved the spicy bbq sauce and j*** mustard. I had the vegan chick'n po'boy. It was huge! The chick'n was crispy on the edges and chewy in the center. Perfect texture. I also had the pretty lush punch drink and it was really tasty, went nicely with my meal. Fiancé had the Nashville hot chicken and he said it was perfect. They had great slaw. He said the grits were a bit too buttery for his liking but i suppose that's more authenticly southern that way and some people prefer it that way. Otherwise they had great texture and flavor. Lovely cozy atmosphere and great location.

The bf and I are both BBQ fans and have yet to find an awesome BBQ joint on LI that is more than just mediocre meat and an ungodly amount of sauce slathered on. Our spontaneous lunch stop at Radio Radio proved that it does exist! We stopped by Radio Radio after going to the movies. It was about 11:30AM and the restaurant had a few patrons inside already. The inside decor and atmosphere is very similar to Vauxhall (sister spot next door) - homey, comfy and chill. As we waited for our food, the brunch crowd starting filing in - so RSVP if you can! I ordered the BBQ combo - consisting of the pulled pork, sausage links, mac & cheese, and grits. It was all delicious save for the mac and cheese (I prefer it creamier but my bf liked it). The pulled pork had tons of flavor on its own, moist and a great texture. The sausage link was good but a touch bit oily. The grits were fantastic and served with a bit of butter on top. My bf had the Nashville Style hot chicken sandwich, which consisterd of buttermilk fried chicken, spicy hot oil, bread and butter pickles, and cole slaw on white bread. I had a bite of and it was amazing. The bf originally wanted the Kitchen Sink Biscuit however they ran out of the biscuit from Kerber's farm. The waitress stated that they had alternative options but my bf declined (if you've been to Kerber's and had the biscuit, you know its insanely good and worth the wait!). Definitely coming back in hopes of trying the Kitchen Sink Biscuit! We didn't make it to dessert as we were both full however look forward to trying some on our next visit!

Very good! Food could have been served hotter but it was tasty. Corn bread was good but served cold. Our server Maureen was attentive and friendly.

Although the kitchen is small, it sure did pack a punch. I had the Fried Chicken Kitchen Sink, and it was a plate filled with all the drool-worthy fixins'. The chicken was fried to perfection, biscuit was awesome, and the pimento mac was excellent. I also sampled the smoked 1/2 chicken. And let's say, I'll be back for my own serving of that dish. The place itself had some cool fixtures and overall, nice ambiance. Take a look at the fans on the ceiling, that contraption was so interesting- yet so simple. Value was on par for Huntington. There were a few critiques on the sides. However the stars here are the meats and they did not disappoint. FYI don't let the southern BBQ premise of this place deter you vegetarians out there - there are plenty of options for you as well. And I'm not talking about sides. Vegan, friend chicken; saiten tacos, jack fruit tacos too. As I said, I'll be back.. And probably sooner than later.

Went to check this place out. The food was very good had one of the combos with my cousin. The smoked chicken was delicious. The pulled pork was a little dry for my liking I had to sauce it up. The corn on the cob was excellent, as well as the pimento Mac n cheese. We had the sweet potatoes fries I not a big fan to begin with but the were good in my book. Def gonna be back to try the ribs.

A quiet Monday night. Four of us split the Crew and one had the Kitchen Sink. All were happy with their drinks. We'd go again.

Great smokey cocktail. Sides are nice too. Greens are fresh and not overcooked. Was happy they offered veg alternatives. Unfortunately, they lost stars due to the vegan alternative for chicken being over cooked like shoe leather. It wasn't battered, only breaded and very hard. They have a good idea providing an alternative for veggies, since with meat substitute, they can trade out meat for most dishes easily. They should consider looking into battering Quorn chicken pieces or learn more about Chinese Buddhist alternative meats, as many vegans can't eat jackfruit (tastes like feet). Otherwise, a well executed, homemade bean burger would pare with some of the dishes well.

I ordered take out for the first time. I had the vegan chicken taco, and they sent real chicken and not vegan. I had to call and confirm is your vegan chicken very authentic looking/tasting? So wound up I ate chicken! They were nice and sent out new tacos and the real vegan chicken tacos were not great. Kind of like a falafel patty, the seitan was not great either. I think the BBQ sauce was partly what killed it all, way too sweet. Everyone else who ate meat said it was "okay". I also wound up getting very sick from it all the next day. I would not go back.

I rarely give poor reviews, but this was a disappointing night. Our 8pm reservation was not honored. Our party of 4 wasn't sat for 25min AND we were only sat because we told them we were willing to split into two groups of two. The place was packed, but they have open tables to walk ins just because they were there physically there waiting before us. If I knew that I wouldn't have bothered making a reservation at all, I would've just come in and waited. The poor hostess looked like she was going to cry the whole time we were waiting. More and more people came, and the bar area isn't large enough to hold anyone. The servers were kind because when a table of 4 opened up, we relocated there. The apps came out fast. I only recommend the hush puppies. Hush puppies' dipping sauce was bomb! The corn was sweet, but awkward to eat, hard to share, and needed salt. The special was a pork empanada which lacked seasoning and sauce. All of these things arrived promptly. However, the service for the meal was slow. And the servers were not attentive as soon as we got our food. We had no knives at our table. For the meal: Mac and Cheese was watery, lacked seasoning. Cornbread was cold and dry. The ribs didn't fall off the bone, and without knives were impossible to eat. Lack of flavor too. If it wasn't for the sauces nothing would have flavor. The fried green tomato sauce was awesome. Spicy. I loved the kitchen sink sandwich. Took home half- chicken was so moist and Kerber biscuits are great. The brisket taco was also good. Chicken taco wasn't worth it- drier than my sandwich
