Swallow Kitchen & Cocktails

Went out to dinner for a friends birthday for the first time in 6 months because we both have small children at home. Kept getting DRIPPED on from the open air system in the ceiling. Expressed disgust to the waitress about getting dirty water repeatedly dripped all over me, my hair, my dress, my arm, and even the table where we're eating. Our waitress, who was both kind & mortified, moved our table. At this table, the same think continued to happen, because we physically remained under the same cooling system pipes. After repeatedly getting dripped on at this new table, our waitress spoke to the owner, and suggested moving outside. So we moved to a high-top outside, where it was hot, buggy, and I was sitting in a dress in a high metal barstool with my pocketbook sitting on my lap. I expressed my frustration with our waitress yet again, and decided it was time for us to actually ENJOY one of the few nights a year where we get to leave the house without our children, and have our entrees at another establishment. Because not only did the owner, manager or literally ANYONE, NOT come over to our table to acknowledge how disgusting it was for a patron to continuously get dripped on by dirty water while they're trying to eat a meal, or any form or an apology or acknowledgment of my experience, after being moved THREE TIMES. Then proceeded to give us the full check, with not a single thing comped on it. I live in the area, and will be highly stressing to all of my family and friends in the area to AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Restaurant was also half empty on a prime Saturday night. I think that speaks volumes in itself! RUN!!

Amazing service, great food and can’t thank them enough for how seriously they take my gluten-free allergy as someone with Celiac. While the items on the menu aren’t marked gluten-free, they can make many of the dishes gluten-free safe or they are safe “as us”. Their fryer is only used for potatoes and all waitresses and other employees are well-versed in gluten free requirements. I loved the shrimp and grits, french fries and mussels. The owner walked around at the end of the night personally thinking the different tables.

If I could give Swallow more than 5 stars, I would! My boyfriend and I visit here very frequently. Chef James, he means business in the kitchen. Every single time we go the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Aside from the amazing food, the service is amazing. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a restaurant. The staff is extremely attentive and beyond sweet, it’s always so wonderful chatting with them! The hostess are also the sweetest as well. Overall, Swallow in my opinion, is one of the best date night spots in the Huntington area. I’m so happy to live so close to such an amazing establishment that is consistently good, every single time. Thank you Swallow ❤️

Went here as a party of 4 based on the recommendation of a friend. Food, service, and atmosphere were top notch. We had multiple cocktails, Mushroom Toast, Grilled Octopus, Nom Nom Noodles, "Mac & Cheese," Chicken Tostadas, Coffee Creme Brulee and Tres Leches Bread Pudding. Everything was great, the mushroom toast was my personal favorite. Rebecca was our waitress and she was very attentive, quick and made great recommendations for the table. We look forward to returning and trying more things on their menu.

I had the most fantastic dinner & cocktails at Swallow Kitchen Greenlawn this past Saturday w/ friends from out of town! First off, The Server was kind and took great care of us! The food was terrific, and the Cocktails were to die for! 🤩🥳😍 Mushroom toast with/ Marscarpone was AMAZING, Steak AMAZING, Mussels-The broth was So good! Tuna Tartare- the Lemon Aioli I'm still dreaming about, Grilled Octopus- grilled to perfection, Street corn- tarragon flavor really came out. My Husband Loved the Chicken Tostadas. We had no room left - but I want to return for the Nom Nom Noodles and everything else!!

Food was delicious! Wide range of small plates. Nice atmosphere. Comfy benches with pillows. Anna was fabulous!

Swallow Kitchen and Cocktails: A Delightful Birthday Celebration

Yesterday, we celebrated a joint birthday dinner for my mother and me at Swallow Kitchen and Cocktails, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish.

To kick off the evening, my wife and mother enjoyed a bottle of 13 Celsius Sauvignon Blanc, served in a perfectly chilled bucket, which maintained its refreshing consistency throughout the meal. My dad tried the Hazelnut Lattini, which he described as a delicious hazelnut milkshake with vodka. I opted for a dirty martini, and I have to say, it was one of the best I've ever had.

For appetizers, we started with the Mushroom Toast, and we were so glad we ordered more than one because it was simply incredible. We even asked for extra bread to soak up the mouthwatering sauce. That set the stage for our next dish—the PEI Mussels. The sauce was so good that we repeated the bread-dipping ritual. After that came the fish tacos, which were light, flavorful, and expertly prepared.

The meal concluded with the Steak Tokyo, cooked to absolute perfection. It was the ideal way to finish an unforgettable dining experience.

Swallow Kitchen and Cocktails not only exceeded our expectations with their food but also with their impeccable service. We can’t wait to return!

First time visiting Swallow tonight. Burger Bar Monday…..WOW!!!! Had the most delicious burger, onion rings and strawberry shake. Sabrina, our server, welcomed us with a smile and had such great energy from start to finish. We will definitely be returning!!

We have been at this restaurant twice and have enjoyed it both times. Food, Cocktails and Staff are great!!! 2nd time we were in the area and decided to go have dinner there, thinking its 5:00pm how busy could it be. Well all tables were reserved and only openings were at the bar. Still had a pleasant time. Make sure you make a reservation!

First of all we have been there 4 times and each time we say the food and staff is outstanding. The cocktails ? are excellent and what they should be- strong- . It is a 8 minute drive to the Northport theatre where we were headed and half of what we would of spent in that town before going to the theatre there. I highly recommend Swallow. Try it, you'll like it !
