The Chicken Coop Grilltisserie

Very good fare with some fine side dishes and out if the ordinary accompaniments. Upon cursory inspection, nothing there comes pre-prepared out of the freezer and into the microwave. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Worth many visits.

This place by far is the best spot i have been for lunch in a long while..., i must tell you that i felt at home, like at my mother's kitchen. There are a lot of great home made delicious choices, i had the " chicken noodle soup" (not the average water & noodles from a lot other places)and "the Beehive sandwich" a master piece of chicken salad on a croissant and a side of kettle chips!! A master piece of a sandwich that only Mike& his wife that care about what they feed the public can create at their kitchen of The Chicken Coop. I will definitely stop by again n again!!

This place is special. Everything is on a very different level than what you get used to. From the incredible sauces, thoroughly seasoned chicken to the local sodas and compostable cutlery. This is what we need here on long island. Legitimate delicious and conscious food at a reasonable price.P.s. I got a cookie (or two) and it was AMAZING.

Very nice staff and my boyfriend and I both enjoyed our Comeback Sandwiches! Good music and I loved the decorations.

Amazing. Just amazing. Really high quality food. Everything is made fresh. Prices are worth it. Decor inside is incredible. Feels very cozy. Please give this place a try.We got the kids Pancake Batter Fried Tenders. Its something like a funnel cake chicken, so delicious. We also got the half chicken combo. It is cooked to perfection. Looking forward to coming back for buttermilk fried chicken.

Fantastic generous portion of AUTHENTIC BATTER DIPPED fish and chips. Fresh flaky flounder. I'll have to try the chicken next time.

I was disappointed. I simply didn't gag over the food. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how the rating is so high. The chicken didn't taste good, nor was the coating good. The sweet potato was too sweet and slimy. The corn bread missed the mark. The rice was delicious though. I won't be returning. If I did, it would be for the chicken pottery. They were cute.

I pulled up a few minutes early for my pick up order, the girls up front were very polite and told me I could wait in my car since my children were in the car and it was raining. They were so busy and It was only 20 minutes before closing. Their employees work well under pressure, and are still very welcoming and polite. Support Local!

I went to check out the Chicken Coop today with my husband; we wanted a light lunch since it was kind of late, so we shared the chicken coop meal grilled with the Mac and cheese and cole slaw. We both really enjoyed everything, you can tell the owners and staff really care about the quality, it shows. The chicken and Cole slaw was great and the creamy hot sauce is amazing! The Mac and cheese was not too spicy, creamy and cheesy, I thought it was perfect. The staff was super nice and we are looking forward to going back to try the fried chicken and everything else!

I loved it here so much went to eat two days in a row from 30 mins away :) I love everything about this restaurant. Nicely decorated with farmhouse style. Every piece of decorations are so interestinf and cute to look at while waiting for the food. Food came out really fast and it was all delicious. Fried chicken, pork ribs, and all the sides were really tasty like homecooked meals but better!They also have the outdoor space for a bigger party as well. Everyone was super friendly and nice so it was a real pleasure. I plan to visit many more times in the future! Became one of my favorite place to eat :) (The antique store two doors down is a really great place to visit after the meal)

Quint little place with outdoor seating. Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing and the customer service is top notch. It seems like a family restaurant with good vibe.
