This place is so good, the service is great and really caring.The food was excellent, i got the pork ramen, the portion was good and it tasted like heaven. I also recommend the bonsai roll, it had great flavor and was fresh. Overall a great spot to eat. Btw bring an a hefty appetite!

Either Uber eats or the restaurant messed up. But, I waited over 45 minutes for pick up. I would be ok if they said it was going to be an hour in advance. But, I can’t spend a holiday waiting for food when I could be at home. This is the first review I’ve ever left at a restaurant. Go anywhere else for sushi in the village or that’s at least what I’m doing.

An enjoyable sushi spot for in-office days in Huntington. Umami is conveniently located right in the central area of Main Street in Huntington making it accessible from the main parking areas and walkable from other hot spots like The Paramount and Main Street Board Game Cafe. It is small and quiet, with quick service for to-go and in-house orders. The staff are very friendly and accommodating when it comes to squeezing in an order at lunchtime. I have never waited more than 12 minutes for mine to be ready. I typically order the 2 roll lunch special and have enjoyed the Tuna Cucumber, Philadelphia, Salmon Avocado, Salmon Mango, and others. The soup that comes with it is a large serving and always piping hot - perfect for a freezing winter day like today while I am writing this! The prices here are fair and the lunch specials are great considering the area and sometimes increased pricing you can encounter.

Highly recommend Umami! They handled our large order flawlessly and when we let them know we had someone in our group who is gluten free, they included gluten free soy sauce which was so appreciated and shows their attention to detail. We'll be back!

Go for the sushi lunch deal!! 3 rolls for 15 dollars is unbeatable, especially when it is a genuinally high-quality delicious sushi. They are open late some days as well, so it is nice for the nights that the only other thing open are bars. Highly recommend overall!

We were going to eat here, but when we tried to use the restroom there was no running water. This means if the employees used the restroom at all, they then went to roll sushi with unwashed hands. We left… with soap on our hands…
